I think I have used it a lot because, as I think to the feeling it gave me, it chased a connection I'd had a time or two in life. I don't know, now,if it's the proper channel for that work, though.

Yeah. So before very recently I used frequently. I had terrible anxiety and migraines, and it helped me tremendously with both.
I have turned people onto it for these purposes. LSD, mushrooms, and DMT. I respect these drugs and their chemical states so much I have helped people trip. Only people who came to me because they knew what a nerd I was about the drugs and understanding their holistic impact and probably a million things on which I was (likely) pretty misinformed.
I never "partied". I'd hang out and have a legit sleepover with friends while we unwound. Helped a healthcare worker through the throes of the COVID panic. And I've had nothing but amazing experiences myself.
But…it seems like a shortcut of sorts to me these days. And I don't like to be known for being lazy or showing people the easy way out if it's wrong.

I'm not certain or sure of anything in this realm, but I think that's very understandable.
The mind expansion component is pretty fascinating. I know the drugs are not always used appropriately but I do know atheists who opened their hearts and minds after using.
I've also meditated, done yoga, etc. through the years, so yeah I guess I do try my best to find that headspace literally all the time. Thanks for the nudge towards more self discovery <3
