==Just what the public needs more abortions on tv. This has to end God, please do this for us. =

The intellectual dishonesty in Kate Cohen’s pro-abortion column for the far-left Washington Post is, to the surprise of no one, typical of what we see in the fake media, most especially the left’s demonic sacrament of abortion.

After discovering a TV character decided to have her baby rather than kill it, Cohen seemed to freak out a bit… “Dammit!” she writes. “I was hoping that the young, professional woman, upon learning she was pregnant right after her jerky boyfriend left her, might decide to have an abortion. Instead, it turns out, she doesn’t even consider it.”

She adds, “I’m so tired of this.”

She goes on, “The ability to put a stop to an unwanted pregnancy is part of a kit of tools women have that allow us to determine the course of our own lives. It’s freedom care.”

“Freedom care.”

Unbelievable.

The deliberate dishonesty here is Cohen presents the abortion issue as a false choice — of freedom versus loss of freedom. She’s suggesting you can either have an abortion or be stuck forever with the life-crushing responsibility of a kid you don’t want.

Question…

Why do these pro-abortion extremists always hide the adoption alternative?

Where’s the adoption alternative, an alternative where you spend only nine months taking responsibility for your own actions, as opposed to literally butchering alive a defenseless baby?

Of the 600,000-plus annual abortions in this country, fewer than 1.5 percent are the result of rape or incest. This means more than 98.5 percent of the 600,000-plus unborn babies butchered annually are butchered for purposes of convenience, and this convenience has nothing to do with giving up your freedom.

During the nine months of pregnancy, most woman can live a perfectly normal life. Then your responsibility ends at birth, which means that a week or so after giving birth (and giving the child to a loving family), you can return to your regularly scheduled life.

Is that too much to ask when the only other option is butchering a human life you yourself created through your own actions and choices?

How does abortion add up to “freedom care” when adoption is on the table? It doesn’t, which is why pro-abortion extremists hide that alternative.

The simple fact is this: once you mention the give-the-child-up-for-adoption option, every argument in favor of more than 98.5 percent of abortions goes right out the window.

As far as why TV and movies don’t depict more abortions… That’s pretty easy to figure out. No matter how much effort dishonest Washington Post columnists put into hiding the give-the-child-up-for-adoption option, we all know it’s out there, which means we all know that a convenience-abortion is a monstrously selfish act.

Movies and TV shows need their protagonists to be sympathetic, and killing a baby because you weren’t careful and when your responsibility adds up to little more than a week or two away from your ambitious life, is an awful and selfish thing for a person to do.

This is especially true now the stigma against unwed mothers has all but evaporated.

Imagine if a TV character adopted a puppy, decided they made a mistake, and rather than put the puppy up for adoption, tied it down and sliced it to pieces with a scalpel.

Kind of hard to sympathize with someone who does that, and, like it or not, that’s what abortion is.

I can think of two TV shows that handled abortion in two very different ways.

In Mad Men, the lead female character, Peggy Olson, has an affair with a married man, ends up pregnant, and knows that if she keeps the child it will destroy her professional ambitions. So, she gives the child up for adoption and goes on with her life. She never considered abortion because she willed herself to ignore her pregnancy. Nevertheless, the adoption allows her to live out her dream life…

Pedos have to have privacy you know, freaks

Model Chrissy Teigen requested President Joe Biden unfollow her on Twitter.

Teigen made the request Tuesday. Although Teigen didn’t specify her reasoning, it seems like she might have wanted to freely use foul language in her tweets.

“I have tweeted a handful of times since my treasured @POTUS following,” Teigen said. “In order for me to flourish as me, I must ask you to please lord unfollow me. I love you!!! It’s not you it’s me!!!!”

'Very Frightening': Dr. Scott Atlas Explains How Public Health Officials Have Damaged the American Psyche

Many Americans don’t know what to believe about COVID-19 because public health officials like Dr. Anthony Fauci have flip-flopped so many times on so many issues it’s hard to keep track. Turning on the news isn’t helpful either, as viewers will likely be met with doom and gloom stories about the pandemic, including death tracker chyrons (thanks, CNN) that seemed to stay on screen no matter what topic is being discussed (at least under Trump). Finally, when vaccines got the green light many breathed a sigh of relief, hoping it meant that soon this pandemic would be over. No more social distancing, no more isolation, no more lockdowns, no more Zoom school, no more masks…or double masks. But then the “experts” said not so fast—you still have to do all those things even if you get inoculated. After all, the pandemic response is about control, and as Matt wrote Tuesday, that’s not something the COVID Nazis and Democrats want to give up.

Eventually, however, when the pandemic is over, and things do go back to normal, public health officials have done so much harm to the American psyche that many people will have a difficult time moving forward, said Dr. Scott Atlas, former White House COVID adviser and senior fellow at the Hoover Institution.

“If you look at the data from the National Bureau of Economic Research, over 90 percent of American stories [about COVID-19] were negative and therefore fear invoking whereas in Europe it’s just over 50 percent,” he told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham.

“That has an impact, and at this point when you have people that keep repeating that kind of stuff, misinformation, totally ignoring the science on the masks, actually, completely ignoring and therefore pushing false information—they’re instilling fear and that’s what’s worrisome here, because when you look at the data on the surveys, over 70 percent of Americans say they will wear a mask after the pandemic is over. That’s very frightening,” he continued. “We have a damaged American psyche, and it's due to these public health officials that are just really not saying the real data, probably because they don't want to admit they were so wrong."

Other voices challenging public health orthodoxy on COVID-19, like Dr. Marty Makary, a professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health, are bringing more optimistic outlooks on the pandemic to the American people. In a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed, he predicted COVID-19 will be "mostly gone" by April thanks in large part to herd immunity.

Why 28 Republicans Are Calling for an Investigation Into the National Institutes of Health

It blows my mind they are not all calling for it, left or right

Twenty-eight Republicans on Tuesday sent a letter to Health and Human Services' (HHS) Principal Deputy Inspector General Christi Grimm asking for an investigation into the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) relationship with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV).

According to the legislators, there is sufficient evidence calling for an independent investigation into whether or not COVID-19 was the result of a lab leak at the WIV. The members of Congress have concerns about taxpayer funds partially funding the WIV's research.

"The NIH, unfortunately, has played a major role in supporting WIV and this treacherous research and the promotion of spurious claims dismissing the NIH-funded lab’s potential role in the COVID-19 pandemic," the letter states.

The 28 members accuse NIH Director Francis Collins of "secretively funnel[ing]" taxpayer funds to "WIV's reckless coronavirus experiments through grants awarded to the U.S.-based EcoHealth Alliance, Inc. The Pentagon also apparently funded WIV via a grant to EcoHealth."

In the letter, the Republicans say EcoHealth Alliance's president, Peter Daszak, slammed the United States government for investigating whether or not the Wuhan coronavirus started in a lab at WIV.

"In light of all this, we are gravely concerned about the NIH’s relationship with both EcoHealth and WIV, and the Agency’s handling of allegations that the COVID-19 pandemic was potentially caused by an NIH-funded laboratory at WIV," the letter states. "We also are alarmed that WIV is eligible to receive additional funding from the NIH through 2024."

These are the eight questions the members of Congress would like answers to:

  1. When was the NIH first aware that coronavirus experiments were being conducted at WIV with taxpayer funds (via EcoHealth Alliance or otherwise)?

  1. Did NIH officials review WIV’s coronavirus experiments to assess compliance with Potential Pandemic Pathogen Care and Oversight (P3CO) guidelines?

  1. When was the NIH first aware of biosafety or other concerns at WIV?

  1. Was the NIH briefed on the concerns raised by the State Department in 2018 about the potential pandemic risk of WIV’s research?

  1. Did Dr. Collins or other NIH officials communicate with EcoHealth Alliance and/or WIV to coordinate responses to lab leak allegations?

  1. When does WIV‘s current eligibility to receive NIH funding expire?

  1. Is WIV currently receiving any NIH support directly or indirectly?

  1. How much NIH funding - directly or indirectly - has WIV received from the NIH including grants, sub-grants, and other funding sources.

The letter was signed by Scott Perry (PA), Nancy Mace (SC), Bill Posey (FL), Rick Crawford (AR), Greg Steube (FL), Jody Hice (GA), Jeff Duncan (SC), Matt Gaetz (FL), Tom Tiffany (WI), Ronny Jackson (TX), Troy Balderson (OH), Pete Sessions (TX), Andy Biggs (AZ), Diana Harshbarger (TN), Elise Stefanik (NY), Chip Roy (TX), Jeff Van Drew (NJ), Daniel Webster (FL), Ted Budd (NC), Austin Scott (GA), Ralph Norman (SC), Dan Newhouse (WA), Dan Crenshaw (TX), Guy Reschenthaler (PA), Louie Gohmert (TX) and Ken Buck (CO).

That’s funny you say that, I was just thinking how useless these representatives are. They didn’t stop big tech when they were severely warned 5 years ago. Our form of representative government had failed due to lobbying and money. They no longer represent citizens.
