You apparently don't. The ritual pays homage to RA, not Horus, who in this case was the enemy. Horus has absolutely nothing to do with this ritual. The eye of Horus is the alleged gateway through the sun. The West gate is Ra, the East Gate was Horus. Nothing at all to do with the ritual regarding the eyes.
