Bongino Attacks National File For Article About Parler CEO, Falsely Claims Article Planted By Gab’s Andrew Torba
Parler's new CEO is behind a convention that could let Soros and his allies rewrite the Constitution. Dan Bongino called it a "hoax."
Dan Bongino attacked the integrity of National File on Monday, claiming Gab’s Andrew Torba was behind this site’s recent reporting on Parler CEO Mark Meckler.
National File revealed on Sunday that the interim CEO of Parler, Mark Meckler, is behind the Convention of States, a project that supports a constitutional convention under Article V. While backed by a number of prominent conservative figures, it could leave the Constitution wide open to be rewritten and amended by George Soros and other leftists, who support similar attempts to call a convention. As National File reported:
Numerous grassroots Republican activists have confirmed to National File that there is no conceivable way to limit the scope of an Article V Convention, and that many states seeking to participate in the convention are limited by their state constitutions, and as a result, can only participate in the convention if there is no scope.
Many fear the convention would lead to a Soros-sponsored gutting of current constitutional protections that include freedom of speech and religion, the right to privacy, and the right to bare arms.
Dan Bongino, one of the co-owners of Parler, discussed National File’s reporting the Monday night edition of his program, falsely labeling the story a “hoax.” Bongino not only inadvertently revealed that he has absolutely “no relationship” with Meckler, despite running the company he co-owns, but also claimed that the story was planted by a CEO of a “rival site,” understood to be Andrew Torba, which is ostensibly one of the only competitors to Parler that could be considered a “rival” company.
“Whenever Parler has even a little bit of success, getting back online, you will notice a story about Parler being owned by George Soros, operated by George Soros,” Bongino said. “It appears every time Parler has some degree of success. It’s a scam run by an unethical competitor,” he added.
Bongino then described this individual, apparently Torba, as “a very immature, childish buffoon,” “a total clown,” and “the most unethical guy I have ever dealt with in my life.”
National File had no contact with Torba or any other “rival” competitor regarding Meckler or Parler prior to the publication of the original article. National File’s named source is a spokesman for the John Birch Society. National File also spoke to several grassroots Republican activists, many who support the ideals of the Tea Party and Ron Paul, to gain background information about the Convention of States and Meckler.
In a statement provided to National File, Torba confirmed that he had “nothing to do with the excellent reporting done by National File,” and had simply “shared the article like any other reader would,” believing the information contained to be “in the public’s best interest”:
I had nothing to do with the excellent reporting done by the National File. I simply shared the article like any other reader would because I believe the information is in the public’s best interest. Instead of refuting the reporting done by National File, Dan Bongino has resorted to ad hominem attacks against me for no reason. This is a shame because I believe Dan Bongino is a good and decent man who is currently wrapped up with some horrible people, namely the billionaire oligarch Mercer family.
These people have a history of repeatedly using others to their own benefit only to discard them later. John Matze, the founder of Parler who was ousted by the Mercer family from his own company recently, is only the latest example. They have done the same to Steve Bannon at Breitbart and Milo among others in the past. Dan should get out while he still can before the same thing inevitably happens to him.
In a later post on Gab, Torba said it was a “shame” that Bongino made the “baseless” claims against him “because a media outlet reported something” Bongino didn’t like. “Bizarre behavior from a grown adult man,” Torba added.
National File reached out to Bongino for comment before publication, but did not receive a response.

Responding to a National File report, co-owner of Parler Dan Bongino said he has “no relationship” with new CEO Mark Meckler who supports a constitutional convention that would potentially let George Soros rewrite the Constitution.
National File revealed on Sunday that the interim CEO of Parler, Mark Meckler, currently runs the Convention of States Project, a supposed “grassroots” organization pushing for a convention under Article V of the Constitution. As National File reported, Meckler is joined in his push for a convention by George Soros through his funding of leftist organizations, who could use the opportunity to run roughshod over the Constitution:
The New Republic noted in 2014 that “George Soros — the financier of global fascism — is pumping millions of dollars into the same Article V campaign that is being promoted by” top conservative voices, including Mark Levin.

“I don’t know him, I have never met him in my life,” Bongino said about his relationship with Meckler, who serves as Bongino’s employee as the interim CEO of Parler.

Today a woman who worked under Governor Andrew Cuomo accused the New York Governor of inappropriate sexual advances that lasted for years. The woman released information detailing what she claimed were acts of sexual harassment by the Governor.
Cuomo’s former deputy secretary of economic development and special adviser, Lindsey Boylan, wrote a 1,700-word post on the website Medium that she was subjected to unwanted advances by Cuomo that lasted for two years.

Woman finds kilo of cocaine in crochet kit bought at Seattle store
Sunday afternoon, a woman discovered a kilogram of narcotics within a packaged crochet kit in the Greenwood neighborhood.
Around 3:00pm, a woman purchased a kit to crochet animal hats at a business within the 730 block of N 95 St. When she opened the kit, there was a suspicious heavy item encased in yellow rubber giving off an odd odor with 100% written on the outside. The woman immediately called 9-1-1.
Officers responded and took possession of the suspicious package. Police later confirmed the substance to be a kilogram of cocaine.
Where the package originated from remains under investigation. The drugs were placed into evidence.

ABSURD : Cult of LGBTQ says trans “female” MMA fighter who destroyed female competitor is “bravest athlete in history”
The title of “bravest athlete in history” now belongs to trans “female” MMA fighter Fallon Fox, a biological male who absolutely destroyed female opponent Tamikka Brents during a recent fight.
For using his male hormones to nearly kill Brents, all while pretending to be a female, Outsports contributor Cyd Zeigler wrote in the LGBTQ publication that Fox has now “been inducted in the LGBT Sports Hall of Fame.”
“She is an indelible part of LGBT sports history,” Zeigler glowingly wrote. “And, maybe most importantly, she generated conversations an [sic] opened possibilities for trans athletes in women’s sports that will be felt for generations.”
Because Fox delivered “life-altering blows” to Brents, many criticized him for dressing up like a female in order to unfairly compete with females rather than with other males like normal men do.
Zeigler became triggered upon hearing about these criticisms against Fox. Demonstrating the typical LGBTQ fragility and theatrics we have all come to expect, Zeigler whined about how he has “literally never seen” the “torrent of hatred … targeting an LGBTQ athlete” that he has witnessed against Fox.
Not surprising is the fact that Brents was never even told that Fox was born a man – and still is a man based on his genetics. All she knows is that she suffered a concussion and seven orbital bone fracture at the hands of Fox.
“I’ve fought a lot of women and have never felt the strength that I felt in a fight as I did that night,” Brents recalled about her 2014 fight against Fox, which lasted a mere three minutes.
When asked if she thinks Fox’s strength comes from the fact that he is a man, Brents was careful to remain politically correct.
“I can’t answer whether it’s because she was born a man or not because I’m not a doctor,” Brents is quoted as saying. “I can only say that I’ve never felt so overpowered ever in my life and I am an abnormally strong female in my own right.”
Brents went on to say that she “still disagree[s]’ with Fox fighting” against other women because he is not actually a woman.
“Any other job or career I say have a go at it, but when it comes to a combat sport, I think it just isn’t fair.”

‘The war continues’: Small investors up in arms after GameStop stock trades halted amid price surge & reports of Reddit outages
GameStop shares have again soared, surging by more than 100 percent until a trading halt slowed the rally before markets closed, stoking suspicions among small investors, some pointing to mysterious Reddit issues during the spike.
$GME was up by nearly 104 percent when trading stopped on Wednesday, more than doubling its value over the last 24 hours, but the surge was stopped in its tracks by a trading halt imposed some 15 minutes before markets closed.
Observers online noted that while halts are typically short-lived and last only a few minutes, the suspension of GameStop trades endured until markets closed at 4pm eastern.
The sudden trading pause was met with outrage by some investors, one even calling for a Congressional probe into what he deemed “obvious market manipulation.”
“What they just did to GameStop is absolutely disgusting,” one commenter wrote. “Again. Halt the last 15 minutes of the day, and then allow trading immediately following the close. Corrupt as s**t. The SEC is absolutely worthless.”
The price rally followed reports on Tuesday that GameStop’s Chief Financial Officer Jim Bell was ousted over strategic disagreements, set to be replaced by an executive more in line with the vision of board member Ryan Cohen, who made a substantial investment into the firm last year to aid its transition from brick-and-mortar to online sales. Cohen’s arrival helped to kickstart a buying craze in GameStop shares that culminated last month, seeing the stock price swell by more than 1,800 percent at some points while inflicting billions in losses on Wall Street hedge funds heavily shorting the company.

Rep. Newman had a tantrum on Wednesday after Rep. Greene voted against the so-called “Equality Act,” which would force girls to compete with biological boys in school sports and stomp on religious liberty laws.
The petulant Democrat decided to post a video of herself hanging a transgender flag outside of her office, which is directly across from Rep. Greene’s.
“Our neighbor, @RepMTG , tried to block the Equality Act because she believes prohibiting discrimination against trans Americans is ‘disgusting, immoral, and evil.’ Thought we’d put up our Transgender flag so she can look at it every time she opens her door,” Rep. Newman wrote, adding the winking and trans flag emojis.
In response, the firebrand Republican had a sign made that says “there are two genders: male & female” and “trust the science” and posted a video of herself hanging it, mocking Newman’s video.
“Our neighbor, @RepMarieNewman , wants to pass the so-called “Equality” Act to destroy women’s rights and religious freedoms. Thought we’d put up ours so she can look at it every time she opens her door,” Rep. Greene fired back with a winking emoji and an American flag.

Ohio Public School Orders Teachers and Students to Lobby for LGBT Legislation
An assistant principal at a Hilliard, Ohio high school sent an email to faculty telling teachers to endorse a controversial piece of legislation and encouraged students to do the same. The Hilliard City Council is currently considering legislation that would include sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) as protected classes in the city.
Similar legislation has been debated around the country for more than a decade, and the flagship piece of SOGI legislation the Equality Act was reintroduced in Congress this week.
While the ideas represented in the Hillard City Council legislation are not new, they are highly controversial. Aaron Baer, President of Citizens for Christian Values in Ohio, was on Washington Watch this week to explain the problem. "Not only are they turning students into lobbyists, using taxpayer dollars to force teachers to do something that violates their conscience and students to do the same, but they're not even telling students what they're really advocating for."
Mr. Baer pointed out that the call for activism did not even include a discussion of why the bill was controversial. "The implications of this bill for women's privacy and the safety of children are massive. And the teachers and the script that they were given, literally a literal script that they were given to read to students, says nothing about the implications of this bill."
To their credit, Hillard City Schools has already released a statement recognizing that the actions of the principal were "not appropriate."
The incident raises questions about where else schools are being turned into progressive political action centers without the awareness of parents. Since the story broke, Mr. Baer acknowledged hearing from other teachers in Ohio Schools who had seen similar communications from their school but were reluctant to object out of concern for their careers.
It also provides a great opportunity for parents to reflect on whether the people they are entrusting with the education of their children are worthy of the trust they've been given.
It's worth noting that the signature block of the principal who sent the email includes the principal's "preferred pronouns," which are functionally a public statement of agreement with a set of ideas that are anti-truth, anti-science, and anti-God.
When Christian parents see this from "educators" in their schools, it should serve as their cue to remove their children as quickly as possible.

Commission calls on UK government to close loophole that allowed extremists to avoid prosecution
The Commission for Countering Extremism has called on the UK government to close a loophole that has allowed individuals to spread extremist ideologies and views online without any repercussions or fear of prosecution.
The commission’s recommendation was made after a legal review into the adequacy of existing legislation to combat the issue of hateful extremism was conducted by Sir Mark Rowley, a retired senior police officer who had been in charge of UK Counter Terrorism policing from 2014 to 2018
“Extremist groups whether neo-fascist, neo-Nazi, Islamist or others are able to operate lawfully, freely and with impunity,” Lead Commissioner Sara Khan warned in a statement.
Without action from the government, the commission laid out how hateful extremists will continue to be able to create “a climate conducive to hate crime, terrorism or other violence” and will be able to attempt “to prod and even destroy the fundamental rights and freedoms of our democratic society.”
This is a threat to our civilised democratic order, which cannot be taken for granted and requires a robust, necessary and proportionate legal response.
As current legislation is primarily aimed at dealing with the threat of terrorism, the commission explained that extremist activity, from radical Islamism to white supremacy, is not covered by law if it does not cross a threshold of severity.
The commission is calling on the government to make three changes to rectify the existing failings in the UK’s response. The first recommendation is to create a new legal and operational framework to counter hateful extremism, including digital and in-person activity. Secondly, Rowley believes the UK should expand current offences on whipping up hatred, boosting the ability of law enforcement to address it. Finally, the commission seeks to elevate concerns around hateful extremism, calling on officials to treat it in the same way as terrorism.
The UK government will now consider the findings of the commission and issue a response to its recommendations in due course.

Australia’s top police officer has sent a strongly worded letter to the PM in the wake of the Brittany Higgins rape scandal, warning politicians delays in reporting crimes can seriously damage investigations and risk the perpetrator reoffending.
The alleged rape of Brittany Higgins in parliament has brought the process for reporting crimes into sharp focus.
Australian Federal Police commissioner Reece Kershaw sent a letter to Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Wednesday, warning MPs of the risks of failing to report crimes.
“I cannot state strongly enough the importance of timely referrals of allegations of criminal conduct,” he wrote.
“Failure to report alleged criminal behaviour in this manner, or choosing to communicate or disseminate allegations via other means, such as through the media or third parties, risks prejudicing and subsequent police investigation.”
Former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins alleged she was raped in 2019 by a colleague in the parliamentary office of her then-boss Linda Reynolds.
Senator Reynolds said she encouraged Ms Higgins to go to the police when she learned of the alleged crime, as did Ms Higgins’ subsequent boss Michaelia Cash.
Ms Higgins met with the AFP in 2019 but opted not to pursue an investigation at that time.
But the government is facing scrutiny over its internal reporting mechanisms, with revelations Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton found out about the allegation four days before the Prime Minister said he knew.
Mr Dutton joined a group including Ms Reynolds, Ms Cash, House Speaker Tony Smith, and Senate President Scott Ryan, who knew about the alleged rape before Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
Former Special Minister for State Alex Hawke was also contacted over the termination of the male staffer.
Mr Morrison said on Wednesday he would have approached the situation in the same way as his ministers had he been informed earlier.
“My action would have been the same as those ministers’ actions. That is to say: has the matter been drawn to the attention of the police?” he said.
“The answer to that question was, yes, it had.”
Two other women have subsequently claimed they were also raped by the man, with one of the alleged attacks occurring last year.
Mr Kershaw warned failing to report crimes could embolden a perpetrator to taint evidence or even strike again.
“Any delay in reporting criminal conduct can result in the loss of key evidence, continuation of the offending and/or reoffending by the alleged perpetrator,” he said.
“It also has the very real potential to compromise the rights of victims and other parties to the alleged offences.
“By not adhering to this process, there is a real risk that any alternative actions by individuals may lead to obstructing, preventing, perverting or defeating the course of justice or the administration of law.”

ISIS Claims 65 Nigerian Troops Killed Or Injured In New Borno Attacks (Photos, Video)
ISIS news Amaq has shared footage from recent attacks on the Nigerian Armed Forces (NAF) which took place in the northeastern state of Borno.
ISIS terrorists ambushed a convoy of the NAF as it was passing on a highway between the towns of Gorgi and Kafa on February 19. According to Amaq’s claims, ten service members were killed and at least 20 others were injured in the ambush.
During the ambush, the terrorists also destroyed three personnel armored carriers and a truck. Loads of weapons were also seized by the terrorists.
On the very same day, ISIS cells raided a base of the NAF in the town of Deckoa. 15 soldiers were allegedly killed in the raid, which saw the terrorists storming the base. Three armored vehicles and five pick-up trucks were destroyed by the terrorists, who also captured three vehicles.
Two days later, on February 21, ISIS terrorists killed or injured 20 NAF troops when they attacked a base near the town of Goniri. A suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device was used in the attack.

ISIS Still Holds Mozambique’s Northeast In Its Grip
ISIS militants continue to hold northeastern Mozambique at bay.
Recently, terrorists attacked a settlement in the Palma district.
They killed four people, burned down several buildings and ransacked shops.
Soon thereafter, the terrorists repeated the attack.
However, the jihadists were repulsed by the Mozambican security forces who came to help the residents.
Still, residents of the Palma district and internally displaced persons from other districts in Cabo Delgado province face severe food shortages.
The supply of food is difficult due to the fact that the Islamists control the roads in the district.
According to the Mozambican media, west of Palma in the city of Nangada, a food convoy of sixty trucks cannot continue due to the lack of military escorts to protect against jihadists.
This all comes following the January 23rd, devastation of Cyclone Eloise.
It made landfall in Mozambique, bringing powerful winds, torrential rain and severe flooding. The storm damaged and destroyed farmland, vital infrastructure and thousands of homes, dealing another devastating blow to families still trying to put their lives together after Cyclone Idai struck, less than two years ago.
Around 250,000 people, including 130,000 children, in central Mozambique are likely to need humanitarian assistance, according to government estimates. Children living in the affected areas, particularly those who have been displaced, could soon be at risk of contracting waterborne diseases such as cholera and diarrhoeal infections.
Even before Cyclone Eloise struck, nearly half of the population was living below the poverty line, while some 43% of children under 5 years old were severely or moderately stunted. Meanwhile, the conflict in Cabo Delgado, in the north of the country, has displaced more than half a million people. Basic services have been severely disrupted and affected families are in urgent need of shelter, food, protection and access to health care and safe drinking water. The COVID-19-related economic slowdown has only exacerbated these needs.
On top of it all, another tropical storm is expected to hit Mozambique.
The situation in the country is incredibly dire with both terrorists and natural disasters taking its toll on the local population, which even in normal circumstances is struggling.
