Young girl, 5, found after car she was in was stolen from Renton Safeway parking lot

RENTON, Wash. – Authorities were searching for the person who took a vehicle with a 5-year-old girl inside from the parking lot of a Safeway in Renton Wednesday afternoon, prompting a statewide Amber Alert that was soon canceled after the toddler was found, officials said.
–The car was stolen from the parking lot at 200 S. 3rd Street Wednesday afternoon. Authorities located the car in SeaTac after a bystander noticed the vehicle with a child inside crying. The person notified workers inside a nearby business and they called 911, police said.
–Renton Police say they are now looking for a suspect, who is described as a male with a heavy build. He was last seen getting on a bus. Renton Police released the following photo of the suspect.
–Police say the child's parent was delivering food and left the child in the car in front of a restaurant to pick up an order for a customer, when the car was taken.
–Renton Police Department Commander Dave Leibman provides an update on a girl who was kidnapped when someone stole the vehicle she was in from a Safeway parking lot.
–Police said the girl was reunited with her family. She was not believed to have been harmed during the incident.
–Police officers and a K9 were searching for the suspect in SeaTac.
