Springsteen and former President Barack Obama are launching a new Spotify podcast via Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground. The first two episodes are live today.

The eight-part series,Renegades: Born in the USA, features the friends, who met on Obama’s campaign trail back in 2008, riffing on a variety of topics ranging from “race, fatherhood, marriage, and the state of America,” according to a statement. The podcast emerged from a series of conversations at Springsteen’s home studio in New Jersey from July to December."
