Nope, not quite. Some DID however try to get the believing Gentiles to hold to Mosaic law, but we are not saved by the law, the law condemns us, grace saves us, which is why they decided to only enforce a few things.
Jesus said He did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it. WHO was the law given to? I'm not saying there aren't bad Jews, obviously there are, but they are no worse than any other people who disobey God. Finger pointing is going to fall back on your own head if you're not careful.
