Thinking about the statue in the book of Daniel, it seems that one possible interpretation of the final empire, may be a mixture between the western half and the eastern half of the old Roman empire. A mixture of miry clay and iron, they don't exactly bond together, indicating some differences but maybe share a hatred of Israel.
There are other possible things going on as well. The way it's worded seems to possibly indicate a mixture between humans and…something else, not human.

Read the friggin bible, the answer is there. The Jews have been blinded because of their sins but mainly because they did not recognize their Messiah when He showed up, but will however hail the one who comes in his own name. They are currently blind also for OUR sakes, so that Gentiles can receive grace as well. God is just, and because He gives us grace, He can then justify extending them grace for their sins as well.

Gentiles Grafted In

I have no problem going after the ones who are guilty of crimes. My problem is people who want to wipe out the whole group for the actions of some. Well you can believe what you want. I agree, many have been a pain in the ass, but you need to understand they are being punished, have been for quite some time now, but God IS going to remember them before it's all over.
