Timing works out for Stanley Ann to possibly be Ava's kid. But I never caught the similarity between Stanley's 'Mom' and Ava. Maybe Ava was reassigned to the US after the war, who knows.
Every time we do an ear slide, no one is aware that earlobes get longer with age.
BTW those two ears look like the same person, just different lighting.

I can tell you that if you do the math on the size and weight of those tungsten poles, you can fit something like 23 of them in a space shuttle. I had calculated it way back when. Less in a X37, but still very doable.
I always think of your question as follows: if they could, why wouldn't they? And the answer seems to be "they would."
