my guess would be clay & sands (some ochre-like stuff, i.e. ferric oxide).
But there's this nicely inclined & layered greyish/white-ish structure in there b/w all the yellow stuff.
Can't say what it might be though. could be a mineral like calcite or quartzite, or just layers of compacted greyish clays.
