Washington, D.C. (Feb. 26, 2021)—Today, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy, and Rep. Jimmy Gomez, Vice Chair of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, sent letters to Thomson Reuters and Equifax, Inc. requesting documents and information regarding the sale of utility customers’ data to U.S. Immigration and Customers Enforcement (ICE).

“We are concerned that the commercialization of personal and use data of utility customers and sale of broad access to ICE is an abuse of privacy, and that ICE’s use of this database is an abuse of power,” wrote Krishnamoorthi and Gomez. “Because CLEAR is a private database, ICE’s access through a subscription appears to evade the federal Privacy Act’s protections governing the federal government’s collection, maintenance, and use of personal information.”

Thomson Reuters advertises its CLEAR database as “the most comprehensive utility locator information on the market,” with “more than 30 million utility data records (e.g., names, addresses, service information) from more than 80 national and regional electric, cable, gas, and telephone companies.” Thomson Reuters has stated that utility records are especially useful for targeting “people who are not easily traceable through traditional sources.”

There was confusion at the Conservative Political Action Conference when Marco Rubio’s opening remarks were suddenly removed from the agenda.

The Florida Senator had been scheduled to give the first speech of the day at 8.45am on Saturday, but was taken off the schedule, with no immediate explanation.

Just over twenty minutes after the scheduled start time, Mr Rubio tweeted out that an “unexpected family issue” meant that he was unable to make it to the event.

Those who have followed all of the internal research will know the name John Carlin. As noted in this text message below Carlin has returned to the DOJ and is currently Acting Deputy Attorney General inside Main Justice. Once again the corrupt DOJ is attempting to secure itself from sunlight upon prior activity, very corrupt activity.

John Carlin was the assistant attorney general and head of the National Security Division inside the DOJ when efforts against the Trump campaign and incoming administration were underway. John CarIin was previously chief of staff to FBI Director Robert Mueller.

In September of 2016 Carlin manipulated the FISA court by misleading them on the Section 702 certifications. Carlin never informed the court of FBI contractors having access to the NSA database and exporting the search results to unknown actors. The FBI was using the database to monitor 2016 political campaigns and political opposition.

Carlin announced his resignation Sept 27, 2016, the day after he filed the Government’s proposed 2016 Section 702 certifications. Carlin departed the NSD October 15, 2016, five days before the Carter Page FISA was approved by the FISC.

It was John Carlin who ultimately facilitated the fraudulent FISA application against Carter Page in order to continue surveillance of the risk represented by Donald Trump. John Carlin’s legal counsel in the NSD was Michael Atkinson.
