They are arguably deriving momentary pleasure from such vile deeds.

ANYONE can grasp the pleasure that might momentarily come from "cutting loose" from restrictions (even if it is clear that some gain pleasure from things that horrify others of us).

But if you read what Aristotle says in Book I of the Nichomachean Ethics, you will see that he distinguishes the stable and "soul filling" nature of eudaimonia from momentary pleasure. As he describes it, "eudaimonia" is the state that makes you BE as a man what you are MOST meant to be. It isn't at ALL any sort of arbitrary pleasure that might come from satisfying perverted desires…
