An anon in the last bread suggested that the whole point of the Cuomo "sex harassment" allegations (which, for all we know, may even be true) was to deflect attention away from the Governor's Nursing Home Covid-19 Murder Spree, while also adding fake headlines towards the "Men are Pigs" narrative the MSM likes to repeat.

But this same tactic of using one (real or fake) scandal to deflect from another (real, far worse) one is Mockingbird standard operating procedure. With, stoking yet another false narrative from the fallout, if possible, being just a variant form of the tactic.

For example, any Britfag Anon must have figured out by now, that the entire purpose of the ongoing Muh Harry / Muh Meghan "scandal", is to generate daily howling in The Sun and other United Kingdom fishwrap, to keep Prince Andrew's visits to Epstein Island and the resulting BRF legal (cough) difficulties (cough) off the front pages.

How many other "minor scandal trumpeted, to keep major scandal off the front pages" examples can other Anons think of?
