Bets are that literally the only reason bo does not enforce anon, is because that would kill the tripcode whitelist, and Q wouldn't be able to post.
It's a double edged sword like everything else:
If the so-called "mod team", whatever that comprises, whether it be global, or local… is comped: Why should they be the only ones who get to know what they are dealing with?
If the so-called "mod team" is not comped: That is a miracle which I personally highly doubt. No org has managed to do this to date.
