Finally got a chance to watch POTUS' speech at CPAC. It seemed very much like a State of the Union Address – interesting seeing as how Bidan did not report on the SotU.

After his speech, they played YMCA again. I always thought that was a strange song for him to adopt and play at the rallies leading up to the election. Then I listened to the words.

…there's no need to feel down

…pick yourself off the ground

…

…I was once in your shoes

…I was down with the blues

Song could have been chosen for a reason:

to deliver a post-election message pre-election.

Also noticed no gold fringe on the flag this year. It was there last year.
