the main issue with all animals is reproduction

if you dont get into that in a while you have nothing

and with cows no milk

we have cows pigs sheep ducks chickens and all breed here -

chickens are the best but they take some practice and more than a few hens to brood on site (plus at least one rooster) we do it and the birds are far nicer than the hatchery chicks we started with years ago

easiest to breed and get milk and meat is goats but we prefer sheep

get hair sheep no shearing

2 ewes and one ram are great

meat and milk every year and way better than goat meat and milk

temperate climate - seasons and at least 60 inches of rain per year

free water is the key - stream or rain collection

then a great garden to start

then chickens and rabbits

>The other cool part is chickens grow fast.

yeah hybrids from crappy hatcherys fed concentrated feed shipped to your site

does not sustain

must do free range minmal extra feed and have your own brooders and rooster

other wise breed rabbits
