Three Names Were Mysteriously Deleted From Khashoggi Intel Report Just After Release

Careful observers may have noticed that when the declassified CIA report was first published to the Office of the Director of Nation Intelligence (ODNI) website on Friday afternoon, the entire report was removed a mere minutes later.

When the ODNI subsequently released it back to its website, three names initially identified in the report as among those responsible for Jamal Khashoggi's grisly Oct.2018 murder had been mysteriously removed.

As CNN noted in follow-up, "It was replaced with a second version of the document that omitted the names of three Saudi nationals earlier listed among those allegedly involved in the 2018 killing of Khashoggi."

The ODNI on Monday acknowledged the missing names, claiming they were originally there "in error". An ODNI spokesperson said, "We put a revised document on the website because the original one contained three names which should not have been added." This despite the report saying the names were presented with "high confidence" that those listed were involved in Khashoggi's killing.

However, this has raised more questions that answers particularly amid growing public anger over the fact that crown prince Mohammed bin Salman will have zero repercussions from the Biden administration, despite his being identified by US intelligence as having "approved" the assassination. CNN underscores that "The quiet switch by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence went largely unnoticed as the outcry grew that the Biden administration was failing to punish the prince in any way, despite having just declared in no uncertain terms that MBS was responsible."

The three names were deleted among the 21 identified who "participated in, ordered, or were otherwise complicit in or responsible for the death of Jamal Khashoggi," according to the recently released intel report.

Fast-food menu prices have soared during the pandemic

Limited-service restaurants’ prices rose at twice the rate as full-service restaurants last year, says RB’s The Bottom Line. The reason is likely demand and wage rates—and delivery prices.

The pandemic has apparently led to higher prices for fast food.

In January, prices for food away from home—or menu prices—increased 3.9% year-over-year. That was the same rate as in December. That is also the highest rate for menu price inflation since late 2008, when the country was in a deep recession.

But these menu prices aren’t evenly spread. Much of that abnormality can be traced to a certain type of restaurant: One without wait staff.

According to federal data, prices at limited-service restaurants increased 6.2%. By contrast, prices at full-service restaurants increased 2.9%.

Biden administration not allowing media inside migrant children facilities, citing COVID concerns

The Biden administration has reportedly closed off media access to migrant children housing facilities along the U.S.-Mexico border, citing coronavirus concerns, the Daily Caller reported on Monday.

In a statement to the news outlet, a spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services, the agency charged with handling migrant children, said, "The Office of Refugee Resettlement is not hosting media tours of unaccompanied children facilities currently due to the COVID-19 pandemic."

"If media tours resume, we will send a media advisory," the spokesperson added.

The news may certainly raise eyebrows, considering the groundswell of criticism leveled at the Biden administration over its decision to reopen a housing facility temporarily activated by the Trump administration in 2019 — a move condemned by leftist immigration activists and Biden himself.

Those on the right were quick to point out the administration's hypocrisy, as were several open-borders activists on the left, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). In response to the news, the progressive lawmaker tweeted, "This is not okay, never has been okay, never will be okay — no matter the administration or party."

Target Shatters Sales Growth Record, But Hedges Bets On Future Performance

Target has posted massive sales gains during 2020’s fourth quarter, adding more in one year than the previous decade combined. The pandemic boost has raised Target’s stock price 80% in 12 months, but economic uncertainty has the retailer cautious about future plans, CNN reports.

In total, Target’s sales shot up 19.8% from $78.1 billion to $93.6 billion. The average was bolstered by a 145% increase in online sales.

That translated to a 33% increase in net earnings, to a total of $4.4 billion.

"Following years of investment to build a durable, scalable and sustainable business model, we saw record growth in 2020," Target CEO Brian Cornell told CNN.

Smart development can’t take all the credit for Target’s blockbuster year: the COVID-19 pandemic has benefitted large retail operations with strong online presences. Malls and department stores, less able to adjust to COVID-19 safety measures, have floundered.

Other stores that offer delivery, online ordering and same-day pickup saw an average of 20.5% growth, according to The Wall Street Journal. By Target’s estimates, $9 billion of its increased revenue was traffic that would normally go to other stores.

Another important element is the product a store carries: Macy’s saw sales drop almost 30% as consumers stopped buying apparel for outside the home. Home Depot saw sales rise by 20% as Americans repaired and expanded their houses.

Almost all retailers, however, are nervous about what the future might hold after the pandemic is blunted by expanding vaccination efforts. Target declined to make any prediction for the coming year, offering the now-common refrain of “the highly fluid and uncertain outlook for consumer shopping patterns and the impact of Covid-19.”

Arizona Rep Mark Finchem Launches ‘Guardian Defense Fund’ to Fight Against Defamation, Big Tech Censorship

The fund will "defend champions of free and fair elections" and "challenge Big Tech censorship in the courts"

The Guardian Defense Fund, a new organisation set up by Arizona Rep Mark Finchem, will help fight back against the defamation of election integrity champions and Big Tech censorship.

Finchem, an Arizona State Rep, raised over $15,000 to fight back against claims from Arizona Democrats that he, former State Rep Anthony Kern, and Congressmen Biggs and Gosar, incited the “insurrection” on January 6th at Capitol Hill.

However, Finchem isn’t stopping there. With the creation of the Freedom Defense Fund, more legal action will be taken against slanderous accusations of treason and sedition.

According to the fund’s website, the lawsuit against Arizona Democrat House Caucus Leader Charlene Fernandez is only the first legal action to be taken, with the Fund wanting to challenge the malice standard set by New York Times v Sullivan, which requires that “a public figure prove actual malice on the part of a person who defames them in the context of filing a false criminal report released to the press when filed”:

[This standard] allows the smearing of those who enter the public arena by the mainstream media as well as political operatives, and often leaves no avenue for a public figure to defend his or her honor. This not only prevents good people from entering politics, it also means that there is no forum in which the actual truth of a matter can be peacefully established, the usual role of the court system… The unforeseen tectonic shift created by the internet and twenty-four-hour cable news programs has so dramatically changed the information landscape that none of the policy considerations undergirding the actual malice standard [from 1964] now exist… The Fund’s legal team considers the ruling has resulted in massive negative societal consequences, and is ripe for reconsideration by the Supreme Court.

Speaking to the Epoch Times, Finchem said that there are two key points to the fund itself. The first being to defend “individuals who have been wrongly accused of treason.” Finchem referenced the lawsuit, which contains a quote from Saul Alinsky’s “Rule for Radicals” about isolating people, noting that Marxists work by going after “the people who can’t defend themselves, in order to make them an example”:

It’s more important that you isolate somebody who doesn’t have the capacity to protect themselves, the poor guy, the mechanic, the guy like me. They destroyed my business over the past three years as a real-estate agent, so I no longer have a business to lose, which apparently makes me a very dangerous person, so all the things that I stood to lose, are now gone!

Satanic temple in Texas files lawsuit demanding “religious right” to sacrifice babies through abortion

The leaders in charge of the Satanic Temple in Texas are suing the Lone Star State for not allowing them to perform abortions on demand, which they claim is their “religious right.”

Texas’ informed consent laws, these Satanists claim, are a violation of religious freedom because part of worshipping Satan means aborting human babies as a sacrament, similar to how Christians take communion or get baptized.

Murdering unborn children is what Satan demands, and yet Satanists in Texas are prohibited from performing abortions without an abortion facility first providing informed consent to women at least 24 hours prior to the procedure.

“This includes requiring abortion facilities to do an ultrasound and share the unborn baby’s image with the mother as well as provide an informational packet about the abortion, fetal development, abortion risks and resources for parenting and adoption,” Harbingers Daily explains.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of an anonymous Texas woman who is pregnant, and who claims that Texas’ abortion laws infringe on her religious beliefs.

“I’m particularly interested to see how your a** Attorney General Ken Paxton replies to this because he likes to march around the nation taking issue with other states’ issues,” said Satanic Temple spokesdemon Lucien Greaves.

“If he’s not trying to sue them for not electing his preferred president, he’s often releasing press releases about the state of religious liberty in other states and what he feels should be done. He likes to use the language of religious liberty, where it seems to me quite obvious [sic] he means religious privilege for a specific viewpoint.”

Satanic Temple offered free abortions at raffle to raise funds for planned lawsuits

Back in August, the Satanic Temple of Texas proudly admitted that part of its belief system involves murdering babies as a sacrament to Satan. That same month, it also held a raffle to raise money for this and other planned lawsuits.

The winner of the raffle was given a free abortion as part of a “ritual” that affirmed the “choice” of women who get pregnant to murder their unborn children in the name of “women’s health.”

“The ritual goes like this: Before the abortion takes place, surgically or medically, a member of The Satanic Temple will look at her reflection, be reminded of her personhood and responsibility to herself, take deep breaths, focus on her intent and make herself comfortable,” Greaves added.

“When ready, she will say the third and fifth tenet of the temple aloud.”

The third tenet affirms a key platform of Satanism, “do as thou wilt,” except in the context of women getting an abortion. The fifth honors “science” as the be all, end all source of “truth” in the world, urging Satan worshippers not to “distort scientific facts to fit one’s beliefs.”

There’s Only One Reason Democrats Are Turning On Cuomo, And It Isn’t A Noble One

What's most striking is that de Blasio's call to 'revoke the governor's emergency powers' comes after nearly an entire year of Cuomo publicly wielding his power to destroy his own state.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is calling for the state legislature to revoke Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s emergency powers, joining nine Democrats as well as the state’s Republicans in doing so. “The State Legislature,” his Sunday night statement reads, “must immediately revoke the governor’s emergency powers that overrule local control.” Great idea, mayor. But why now?

One reason de Blasio lists is Cuomo’s “withholding of information on the deaths of over 15,000 people” in the nursing-home scandal. That fact, you might notice, has been in the media spotlight for weeks now. Even before then, the mayor didn’t seem to think the on-its-face-stupid-and-obviously-deadly decision was a good reason for removing extralegislative powers.

While last year Fox News’s Janice Dean, The New York Post, The Federalist, The Daily Caller, President Donald Trump, and others exposed and publicly detailed Cuomo’s abuses, the mayor kept silent. He also passed on the chance to sign on with nine members of his own party when they joined their Republican colleagues in calling for an end to the emergency powers more than two weeks ago. What else, then, could have provoked Sunday’s statement?

A second reason the mayor listed is “multiple instances of intimidation.” Those, you might also notice, have been obvious since Cuomo first entered politics.

“Everybody knows that behind the scenes, he is the dirtiest, nastiest political player out there, and that is his reputation from years in Washington,” former New York Gov. Elliot Spitzer told CNN in 2010. “He had brass knuckles, and he played hardball. He has a lot of enemies out there. Nobody’s been willing to stand up to him.” Spitzer, some will recall, fled office amid a then-Attorney General Cuomo investigation of his frequent use of prostitutes.

Any other reasons, then? Yes, actually: Accusations of sexual harassment, which gained broader credibility five days ago after one accuser detailed her story in a long blog post, and were furthered this weekend when a second woman added her story. A third came forward Monday evening. “New Yorkers,” de Blasio’s statement opens up, “have seen detailed, documented accounts of sexual harassment.”

Sexual harassment is indeed terrible, particularly from a position of authority, and especially from a position of public trust. A proven charge stands alone as reason to fire a man.
