“Something” = pattern.
Posts flowed at a certain rate given between, say X and Y. But today that rate is very slow even considering like days and times.
Likewise, posts included a certain mix, with some not using the quote post number, some using it, some memes, some gifs, some YouTube…..etc….and that pattern is not the same today as it has been in similar situation analysis.
