So, probably a bit of a slide, but a realization just hit me after waking up (so craps shoot on the quality).
It pertains to the 'fe map' used by the U.N. and others. When looking at 3d space, then the map is flat. However, when looking at how an object can be rendered in N-dimensions, the map can be thought of as a sort of cross section where everything after a sphere's circumference is stretched as the n-d axis continues to grow but the object it is referencing does not.
I have no idea if this is a particularly useful thought or contemplation, but going for a bit of expanded thinking.
