Pelosi holding weekly presser despite House Dems cancelling session over QAnon chatter

Online chatter from QAnon conspiracy theorists about a scheme to storm the Capitol on Thursday prompted House Democrats to cancel work — though Speaker Nancy Pelosi was not spooked enough to postpone her weekly press conference.

Despite the Senate, which is also led by Democrats, remaining in session just down the hall, as well as 8-foot fencing topped with barbed-wire around the Capitol, House leaders scrapped plans for floor votes out of “concern.”

What wasn’t scrapped, however, was Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) scheduled briefing for reporters.

At the event, Pelosi launched into damage control and downplayed the role fear played in moving Thursday morning votes to Wednesday night. She emphasized a GOP request that Thursday’s session end around noon to allow for a Republican conference gathering and said it simply made sense

YouTube CEO says will lift suspension on Trump’s channel when ‘we determine the risk of violence has decreased’

YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki is claiming the suspension on Donald Trump’s channel will be lifted, but at the moment the “risk of violence” is too great.

In a Thursday discussion with the NATO-backed Atlantic Council think tank, Wojcicki was directly asked about the details behind Trump’s suspension from the video platform. YouTube was one of numerous platforms to suspend the former president following the January 6 Capitol riot, which he was accused by the House of inciting.

Wojcicki claims the ban is not permanent and Trump’s channel will be turned back on “when we determine the risk of violence has decreased,” though she provided no timeline for when this will happen.

According to our Gateway Pundit source, police officers working in Portland went to her apartment but she refused to open the door. She now claims she has not been contacted by the police.

On Thursday Portland City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty denied that she was involved in a minor hit-and-run accident in Southeast Portland that another motorist reported to police.

New Jersey – Two Paterson City Council Democrats were indicted on voter fraud charges after harvesting ballots and mailing them in bundled packs.

Four Patterson City Council Democrats were caught in the illegal scheme last June and refused to step down.

Democrats Alex Mendez and Michael Jackson were initially charged last June along with fellow Patterson City Council members Shelim Khalique and Abu Razyen.
