Dear Baker, I have a special request. Want to ask if you can document a moon/wheel occurrence seen from a specific location if you can. Safety would require I not request any specific night. However, you will need to know when the moon will be in the wheel. Will need to refer you to Mooncalc. org. See pic related. You first put your position in the circle, then search the date convenient for you. Then, to find the right time to observe, toggle the slider until the moon is at 151.5 degrees. Then look at the time. This is when you can see the moon in the wheel.
Wish I could have done this myself. Sorry to ask. If you should find an evening that is convenient at some time, just post your pic with time and date. This will give us a photo to compare that date's known elevation.
Would be nice at end of this month to get Spring lunar altitudes. Key is no one telling you what day to observe. Most important thing is a pic at a 151.5 bearing from you know where at a time given to you by mooncalc.org. for the date you decide to go.
One or a couple of these pics with date and time would be wonderful to have.
