What was interesting to me from the recovered Strzok/Page texts was that many seemed truncated. Not all but a good portion seemed to be less than what would constitute an actual conversation.
I've had some experience at a Telcom providing service between the Telcom's and know there is a practice to only save a small portion of message content. I understood this to be both out of storage constraints and to minimize Subpoena potential. It looked to me like some of records might have been gathered from that type of source.
