The Wu-Flu was definitely THE most PLEASANT illnesses I've ever experienced. I didn't have a high fever, I didn't feel like throwing up. I din't have chills and I only had very slight sore back and neck muscles which went away after a few days. I had a cough and a runny nose. For a day and a half, I lost my sense of smell and taste. Then it came back. The cough and runny nose lingered for about 20 days. When i tested positive my employer reimbursed me the $125 testing fee and told me to stay home. He paid me for 3 weeks while I stayed home isolated from people. It was basically like a paid vacation with a cough and runny nose. I re-took the test and tested negative and came back to work. Nothing to be afraid of. Well, that was my covid experience. ps. I caught it at work from someone sitting next to me who was wearing a mask but coughing all day. My employer later told me that that person had tested positive and told me to get tested. I tested positive and enjoyed my time off.
