Based on personal experience ( and being highly sensitive to energy ) …. Florida would be my choice, for now. Maybe someday Washington will convert, but it’s not there yet.
What do I like about FL?
Tampa is pretty cool….jobs, nightlife, parks. Younger vibe ( USF )
Daytona is nice. Emery riddle is there
Orlando has jobs
Miami is shit
Gainesville is a sleeper ( UF )
No snow….occasional ass kicking hurricanes
Not everyone is retired.
Stay north of I-4 corridor
St. Pete / Clearwater and Miami are most liberal
