What markets would arise from DNA altering availability? Criminals could change their identity with black market brokers. To get approved for health insurance one might be forced to have a sting of code with a propensity for disease removedโ€ฆ

But perhaps most interesting, you may not even own your DNA, we currently donโ€™t. An important concept considering that cloning most likely will be available as well. This of course would create a world in which a single individual is now a scalable commodity, where one might be in literal competition with themselves, where the value of a single individual is diminished by market forces, an inflation of the individual. Movie stars would be paid less, or be altogether worthless as there would be many copies. Iterations of which would be sold on the sex market. Tracking systems would need to be created and people would jump at the chance to get them for fear of being mistaken with their clone. These iterations would develop singular life experiences and personalities based upon them, the grey matter of a brain being molded by the prosthetics of a modern environment โ€“ each having its own value.
