If you live on the Cali Coast I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting inland ASAP.
People don't understand how VULNERABLE they are. They couldn't take trees and build a house… a shack…. a shelter….. Drives me freaking insane!

Well maybe the idiots that are still on the Cali Coast deserve to be there at this point….. look at the moving charts recently for people moving in and out of the state.

Ever look at riverbanks? Actual riverbanks? You know, hill to hill? Yeah. That little river was once 1-2 miles wide or wider and will be again.
How many cities do you know that are built on flood plains? ACTUAL flood plains? Most of them. Maybe all of them. I live in one. About 25' above the water actually. My house isn't in any listed flood plain either. No where near high enough. In my area the actual flood plain is well over a mile wide and 100' deep, from a river that's maybe 50' wide by 20' deep.
But it's never happened.

How long have you been in America for? Recorded history here? MAX 500 years. You go talk to the injuns who live in your area and ask them when the last actual flood was there? Didn't think so.
Just do a bit of research into campground disasters where unexpected rains have killed and destroyed whole campgrounds full of people, especially in the Ozarks. Then the weather people blab that it was a "once in 1000 years" flood or some other kind of bull shit.
