You need to dig, ot just google - your 'sources' are shit. Get to the articles they reference and read. What? They don't give references??? hmmm
Things like meteors, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, solar output….. They are grouped as "Acts of God" for many people, and that makes sense. One cannot predict them and planning for them is impossible - worrying about them yields one nothing but anxiety.
That being said, humans seem to fascinate on them, and so there are a LOT of publications and research. Many scientists have changed their positions when enough research has been done and corroborated. Much more info is being shared in dissimilar fields today due to internet, and a lot of the old theories are getting revamped.
If you are going to dig science, then you need to search published papers - it's out there. Rags like Discovery, Popular Science, etc. are pushing "doom porn" for clicks and bucks - they decide for you what the truth is, regardless of the science behind it. If it seems doomish or controversial, they publish it.
Pole shift is not going to cause the world to end, or else the evidence for this would be in the fossil record and in the mineral record. Does it matter to you if the south pole is negative or positive polarity? Why?
What matters is that we have a degrading magnetosphere. Digging on that you find out quickly that this is directly related to solar output, as our magnetosphere responds to solar wind and activity.
But do your own digging - and soon you will see the world of "doom porn" for what it is.
