Same here. Getting "unknown error occurred" all the time.
Like anons say, tor w/ clearnet address works, also opera w/ vpn switched on.
My guess is that it's intentional and that it currently is the only way to avoid the heavy spam attacks that occurred.
Sucks balls bigly, and no explanation from anyone in charge. But I guess they can't even explain, in order to avoid giving bad players clues as to their current setup.
