I agree, windmills are fucking horrendous, but even if it was solar, you'd still need storage capacity. Electricity coming battery supplies is more consistent/stable, though, so there's that. The idea is you have to have more than enough capacity to cover for when there's no generation.

Agreed. Mitigation stuff points directly to the CAPTCHA process, and that's why they pay bucks to VanwaNet, however I'm still questioning the whole process of the flood-spamming with the rapid IP switching and ability to bypass CAPCHA for each new IP. It seems to me that this is happening on the back-side of VanwaNets process, or they are somehow directly getting in directly, as in a back or side door. If that's the case, the flood-spamming is not going to stop, and will happen whenever something is over the target, or Anons talk about something that [they] don't want exposed.
