I totally get where you are coming from. From a standpoint of morality, stealing elections is wrong.
Unfortunately, there is no definitive evidence that breaking the code of morality, which is a loosely defined construct in itself and varies hugely depending on who you ask, has any repercussions in itself.
I could go off on a tangent on how the absence of a unifying code of morality might be the root cause of the mess we find ourselves in, but that is not the point now.
The point is, that if you can not 100% be sure that morality is somehow intertwined with the laws that govern the principles of what happens in this universe, then the argument that the people are not to blame because the election was stolen from them might be true in some sense, but absolutely counterproductive when it comes to actually remedying the situation as it is.
