I think there are geolocation IP blocks on write access, so not specific browser/OS related.
Guessing blocks are spam/bot related. Analyzed source IPs and blocked those ranges. IPs are organized regionally, phone area codes are a rough example.
TOR nodes probably not blocked because bots don't use them. Same with mobile.
Have to cast a wide net first to stop the bleeding. Sucks, but it's better than the breads being filled in two minutes.
