I asked myself who ran operations of the Deep State. We might all come up with different responses to that question but the lack of oversight and the culture of silence within the CIA seemed as good a point as any to begin.

I assumed if the head of the CIA was also the operating commander of the Deep State within the government he would have handlers in the other departments within the Executive as well as in Congress (Schumer/6 ways to Sunday). Of course I cannot even speculate as to the judiciary because they are not as overtly political.
