If Sessions is playing a role he is doing it well and if the stakes are as high as we've been told, such a role may have to be maintained for a long time.
On the other hand, the failure of Sessions to prosecute any of the evil that we've been hearing about for so long, and ongoing Mueller investigation which has given the normie news free rein to make it sound like POTUS is practically Al Capone, which a fuckload of normies still could believe, the optics have been terrible.
Trump's approval rating should be in the 70s for all he has accomplished. Instead, he is just as likely to lose the House and be impeached by March.
So if Sessions is playing a role, the stakes are very, very high.
