About time to call it a day.
Struggling over the new rescue pup, Rascal. She is looking great and loves people. However, it appears she was what is known as a “bait” dog. She is a 4 year old Pit Bull. So she attacks all other dogs. Her previous life was apparently to get other dogs ready for a fight. I am always saddened by man’s inhumanity to man and especially saddened by man’s inhumanity to animals. God did not create man to attack and kill other men. God did not create dogs to attack and kill other dogs. And God did not create man to be cruel and inhuman in their treatment of puppies as they grow up to be dogs.
I plan to check all options to see if Rascal can be trained but after 4 years, it may not be feasible. I will do the best I can for Rascal.
As I try to make the decision regarding what is best for her and the safety of my other puppies, I promise to be humane and treat her with the dignity and respect that she did not receive in the first four years of her life. She deserved so much better.
