Had an incident last night a the ballpark, the same group of kids that have played baseball together since t-ball, (now entering high school) played an outside team. A mother of color from the other team played the race card, incited violence and children were beaten by her sons. For absolutely no reason. The games are suspended indefinitely. Our kids are in shock. This has to stop.
I can live with that.
The police handled it, the mother and her sons were arrested.
The point I tried - and failed- to make is that this group of kids come from all races and backgrounds. There has never been a race issue before. Why now?
That was not my intent, it was what I thought to be a description of the perpetrator.
What term would have been less offensive?
