Republicans Accuse Zoe Lofgren of Breaking House Rules with Report Insinuating 1/6 Inside Job

Three Republicans on the Committee on House Administration accused Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) of breaking House rules following the release of her “Media Report.”

Lofgren, chair of the House Administration Committee, wrote a nearly 2,000-page report documenting social media posts by Republicans who voted January 6 against certifying the presidential election results. The written report appears to be from her personal office.

In the foreword, Lofgren said she asked her staff to look at all public posts made on social media by members who voted to overturn the election vote. Lofgren said Republicans “betrayed their oath of office” and did not support the Constitution by starting an “insurrection”.

The foreword said:

Like former President Trump, any elected Member of Congress who aided and abetted the insurrection or incited the attack seriously threatened our democratic government. They would have betrayed their oath of office and would be implicated in the same constitutional provision cited in the Article of Impeachment. That provision prohibits any person who has previously taken an oath as a member of Congress to support the Constitution but subsequently engaged in insurrection or rebellion from serving in Congress.

Rep. Rodney Davis (R-IL) is the ranking member of the Committee on House Administration, where Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) and Rep. Bryan Steil (R-WI) also sit on the committee. In the letter sent to Lofgren, the three Republicans found the report to be wrong and offensive.

The letter they wrote questioned the report might be breaking House rules if it used money from the Members’ Representational Allowance (MRA).

The letter said:

As the Chairperson of the Committee which is responsible for overseeing the rules governing the use of the MRA, you more than anyone should know that the handbook is clear when it states “the MRA may only be used for official and representational expenses.” Using your personal office resources to investigate other Members of Congress cannot be considered to be related to your representational duties to your district.

The letter mentions the report, which is linked to her official House website, contains links to the websites and other social media platforms that are operated by the campaigns of the Representatives. This has been a “long-standing prohibition on official websites directly linking or referring to websites created or operated by a campaign or any campaign-related entity,” the members wrote.

The Republicans’ letter stated the committee they sit on, which Lofgren chairs, was not one of the four committees who held a hearing on January 6th. The committee has held no hearings and did not scheduled any on January 6th. The Republicans said their committee should be leading the review since it has jurisdiction over the U.S. Capitol Police, the House Sergeant at Arms, the Architect of the Capitol, and the Chief Administrative Officer.

In closing, they mentioned their hope to work together, moving forward, and focusing on the facts that have surrounded that day.

It’s a Real National Security Issue That Most of Our Military Supplies Are MADE IN CHINA

America Could Be Headed for WAR With No Equipment or Supplies

I’ve been writing about the U.S. supply chain for months and pointing out how the American food supply chain has been disrupted by COVID restrictions, natural disasters, and (intentional?) mismanagement.

Eventually, a significant food shortage here inside the country will occur. For those who choose to ignore these warnings and fail to prepare accordingly, times will get very hard very quickly.

But it’s not just the food supply chain we need to be worried about.

In July 2017, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order concerning the security of U.S. supply chains caused by decades of deindustrialization, Free Trade, and lopsided trade policy. Interestingly enough, President Joe Biden signed a similar Executive Order in February.

It is not just gadgets and consumer products that are the concern here. The U.S. Military’s ability to procure needed supplies to arm and support itself in military conflicts is of great concern.

As Loren Thompson of Forbes points out: “The moment is fast approaching when America’s military will be unable to equip itself for modern warfare without relying on Chinese suppliers. So if the war is with China, there’s a good chance the U.S. military would be defeated.”

America’s deep slide down the industrial rabbit hole

Some Americans, particularly younger ones not acquainted with the terms “Free Trade,” might be aware just how advanced the American industrial collapse has become.

Thompson writes:

Just take a stroll through Best Buy BBY +0.7% and see if you can find anything made in America. Virtually every electronic device of interest, from smartphones to flat-panel televisions to laptop computers, is now made in Asia—especially China. And less than 2% of the shipping that delivers such devices to U.S. shores is conducted on vessels made in America. China increasingly builds (and owns) the ships.

It is not hard to dream up excuses for why America might be lagging in smartphones or container ships. After all, don’t we design the smartphones here, and don’t we still build the most advanced warships?

But the more you investigate the extent of America’s industrial decline, the easier it is to see is why that slide might be leading to a security crisis.

For instance, the Pentagon’s current list of top-priority technologies for equipping the future force, in descending order of priority, includes (1) microelectronics, (2) 5G communications, (3) hypersonics, (4) biotechnology, (5) artificial intelligence, (6) autonomy and (7) cyber.

The U.S. isn’t a clear-cut global leader in any of these technologies any more. It may have an edge in two or three of them, but its lead is fast evaporating.

One of those reasons being the Chinese government is working as hard as possible to take advantage of every opportunity. China is also graduating eight times as many students in science and engineering as the United States. I would also add that these students are trained in science and engineering, primarily unencumbered by the constraints of the ideologies of leftist social justice and racial equity.

Despite Trump’s rhetoric on China, the U.S. trade deficit in advanced technology grew every year of his administration. America’s industrial decline is often hidden in the statistics, obscured by the high-tech service industry’s success with leading companies like Amazon and Google.

China Market Regulator Fines 12 Firms for Violating Anti-Monopoly Law

BEIJING—China’s market regulator said on Friday it had fined 12 companies related to 10 deals that violated anti-monopoly rules.

The companies included Baidu Inc., Tencent Holdings, Didi Chuxing, SoftBank, and a ByteDance-backed firm, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) said in a statement on Friday.

The companies were fined 500,000 yuan ($77,000) each for behavior that caused market concentration but did not exclude all competition from other companies, SAMR said.

Tencent said in a statement it would actively rectify operations and provide the regulator with timely reports on deals in future.

UK to Increase Number of Nuclear Warheads it Can Stockpile - Report

The UK is estimated to possess around 195 nuclear weapons, of which 120 are operationally available, according to an April 2020 report by the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation. The UK's deployed warheads are controlled by the Royal Navy.

The UK government is expected to increase the number of nuclear warheads it can stockpile, The Telegraph's deputy political editor Lucy Fisher tweeted Friday.

According to Fisher, an official announcement on the increased number of nuclear warheads is expected to be published in The Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy on Tuesday. The review, set to be released on March 16, will describe the British government's foreign policy, defense, security and international development.

The potential increase in the number of stockpiled warheads would mark the first increase since the end of the Cold War. In its 2015 strategic defense review, the UK committed to reducing "the overall nuclear weapon stockpile to no more than around 180 warheads" by the mid-2020s.

“If this is confirmed, this would be a highly provocative move,” David Cullen, director of the Nuclear Information Service, told The Guardian on Friday.

“The UK has repeatedly pointed to its reducing warhead stockpile as evidence that it is fulfilling its legal duties under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty," he added.

“If they are tearing up decades of progress in reducing numbers, it will be a slap in the face to the 190 other members of the treaty, and will be regarded as a shocking breach of faith," he continued.

The objective of the Non-Proliferation Treaty or NPT, is to halt the spread of nuclear weapons and weapons technology and to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

The motivation behind the alleged move to increase the number of UK nuclear warheads remains unclear.

In February 2020, the Pentagon revealed that the UK committed to a multibillion-pound replacement of its nuclear warheads with ones based on US technology.

“I think it’s wonderful that the UK is working on a new warhead at the same time, and I think we will have discussions and be able to share technologies," Alan Shaffer, the Pentagon’s deputy undersecretary of defense for acquisition and sustainment, said at the time, the Guardian reported.

The UK's stockpile of nuclear weapons spiked to about 500 in the late 1970s, but has decreased gradually ever since. During the Cold War, the US possessed a stockpile of nuclear weapons that were stored in the UK. Although the weapons were under US control, they could be deployed from British delivery vehicles.

Report: 28-Year-Old Physical Therapist Dies Two Days After Taking COVID Vaccine, Cause of Death is Unknown

EVANSVILLE, Indiana — 28-year-old physical therapist Haley Link Brinkmeyer died on Jan. 21 after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine on Jan. 19, according to reports.

It is unknown whether she received the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.

In a Facebook comment, Mrs. Brinkmeyer’s mother, Shauna O’Neill Link, wrote that “My 28 year old daughter took the vaccine on Tuesday and was dead by Thursday…Autopsy shows no other red flags.”

U.S. Public Health “Experts” Say The Pandemic Will Never End, We Should Embrace A “New Normal”

“We’ve been told that this virus will disappear. But it will not,” Dr. William Schaffner, a professor at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and medical director of the National Foundation For Infectious Diseases, recently told CBS News.

“We need to control it. We need to diminish its impact. But it’s going to be around hassling us for the foreseeable future. And by that I mean — years,” he went on to say.

A year after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic, the virus has infected over 118 million people and killed over 2.6 million worldwide, according to the New York Times.

Researchers say that COVID-19 will never be completely eradicated.

“It’s pretty unrealistic to think that we can eliminate a virus from both the human population and from its natural reservoirs,” Dr. Anita McElroy of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine told CBS News.

Although COVID-19 will likely be a part of our lives forever, many public health officials, including Dr. Schaffner, are worried that Americans will become too carefree.

Dr. Schaffner says that it would be best to give up the idea of life going “back to normal,” and instead embrace a “new normal” where our lives revolve around COVID-19.

To these public health officials, a “new normal” means continuing to wear masks, practicing social distancing, and avoiding large gatherings, even after a majority of Americans are vaccinated.

Many public health officials, including Dr. Fauci, are also encouraging the U.S. to use “vaccine passports,” which would allow Americans to travel or engage in other activities only if they can prove that they have been vaccinated or have recently had a negative COVID-19 test.

Vaccine passports are already being used in Israel. Only citizens that can show proof of vaccination are allowed entry to gyms, hotels, concerts, and indoor dining at restaurants.

In January, U.S. President Joe Biden directed government agencies to “assess the feasibility” of a digital vaccine passport.

Reopening is slowly happening in the US. Many states have either loosened or lifted all restrictions, contrary to the advice of public health officials.

At the moment, it’s uncertain if other states will keep restrictions in place even when the majority of the population is vaccinated.

'Unrealistic' to expect life to return to normal post vaccine rollout

Infectious disease specialist Peter Collignon says it is “unrealistic” for Australians to expect life will return to a pre-pandemic normal once the majority of the adult population is vaccinated.

Concerns have been raised over the nation’s timeline for recovery after Chief Medical Officer Brendan Murphy cast doubts over the federal government’s initial inoculation timeline.

Speaking to the Senate COVID Commission yesterday, Mr Murphy said it was “unlikely” every adult will have received their second dose of the vaccine by the end of October – which was the government’s original goal.

“This is everywhere around the world, it’s not going to go away for years and years so there is always a danger even if you’re vaccinated that you might get an infection … but that means you can spread it to others,” Mr Collignon told Sky News.

“So, this expectation that if we get all vaccinated by October life will go back to normal is unrealistic.

“Unless and until we control this virus everywhere that we’re likely to go to we’re still going to have to live with restrictions, particularly overseas air travel etc".

He also said the “overreaction” of state leaders to lockdown in the case of an outbreak was a more significant inhibitor to the return to normal life than a delayed vaccine rollout.

And NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller stated that rape allegations by Katharine Thornton against Attorney-General Christian Porter “probably would not have gone to court” even though the police had not even investigated the matter. When looking at the conduct and communication of both AFP Commissioner Reece Kershaw and NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller in relation to the 2 alleged rapes it is obvious there has been political interference by Scott Morrison and his office.

Every day more information is coming forward in both matters and the molehill, that Scott Morrison and the government are trying to make out the allegations are, is quickly becoming a huge mountain that not even Scott Morrison will be able to climb.

But in this article, we will focus on the police and whether they can be trusted to investigate matters with links to politicians and/or politics.

We will look at the conduct and statements of both police commissioners separately but it’s worth noting at the start of this article that AFP Commissioner Reece Kershaw and Commissioner Mick Fuller worked as a team last year to sweep the fake document allegations against federal MP Angus Taylor under the carpet. Neither the AFP nor the NSW Police, who originally investigated the complaint before passing it on to the AFP, interviewed Angus Taylor when it was clear that the fake document was produced in Taylor’s office and published in an attempt to embarrass Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore. Taylor’s wife, barrister Louise Clegg. works in Angus’s office and it was reported that she was going to run for the position of Sydney Lord Mayor which is even more reason the AFP should have fully investigated the matter and not swept it under the carpet as they did. Human Trafficking, Fentanyl, and a 'Parallel Government' at the Border

Reports from the border indicate a crisis is looming. Yesterday, the Department of Homeland Security asked for volunteers from senior staff to support border agents, warning they expect high numbers of border crossings to continue for months. ICE has asked officers to deploy as soon as this weekend. A record number of unaccompanied minors have also arrived. Internal memos show 3,500 children were waiting in border control stations in addition to the 8,500 already housed in HHS shelters awaiting placement. Yes, this means the Biden administration has children in the “cages” the Obama administration built.

While these flows at the border are a significant concern, a pressing question is who is profiting and how it increases their power. According to Jaeson Jones, retired captain of the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Intelligence and Counterterrorism Division, the beneficiaries are cartels. He now runs an organization called Tripwires and Triggers that seeks to bring media attention to the border risks that do not receive sufficient coverage.

It was never about the human trafficking that was taking over at our border. Or the human smuggling issue. Fentanyl pouring into the country which we knew was going to be a killer. But there is also the fact that the cartels themselves had gone through a quantum leap and change from originally organized crime into what we see now as a parallel government.

In his description, it is clear that these are not unsophisticated gangs that may operate in a territory but don’t control it. They are disciplined, militarized, transnational organizations that wield power over local and national governments to the south of our border. Cartels are not just a U.S.-Mexico problem. Sinaloa is in 54 nations globally, and Carte Jalisco in over 48 countries.

Cartels control the entire 2,000 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border. They have strong links to China to procure the raw materials required to manufacture crystal meth and fentanyl to traffic into the United States. Their ties go so deep with China that there is intermarriage between them. One cartel has hired chemists to find a formulation of fentanyl that has precursors readily available in Mexico to diversify their supply chain.

Chillingly, these cartels have had to refine the processes they use to bring illegal migrants over the border. Jones says traveling the routes defined by the cartels and their smugglers is the primary way migrants reach the U.S. border and that caravans are a consequence of the violence and sexual assault that is rampant on the journey. Migrants are trying to achieve safety in numbers by traveling in larger groups.

The current flows have stretched the cartels’ resources, and they are operationalizing their human trafficking operations. Recently agents have discovered a new wristband system. There are marks on the band that include a symbol that identifies the cartel, whether or not the migrant had fully paid the fee, and a numbering system. This assigned number is the most concerning aspect to Jones:

War Games Showed US Would "Lose Fast" Against China If It Invaded Taiwan: US General

A Chinese invasion of Taiwan would be devastating to the U.S. military as a result of Beijing’s aggressive military development in recent years, according to a U.S. Air Force general.

The outcome was based on a classified Pentagon war game simulation carried out over the years, Air Force Lt. Gen. S. Clinton Hinote said in a recent interview with Yahoo News. He said that U.S. forces were losing more quickly in recent simulations after taking into consideration the Chinese regime’s new military capabilities.

“After the 2018 war game, I distinctly remember one of our gurus of wargaming standing in front of the Air Force secretary and chief of staff, and telling them that we should never play this war game scenario [of a Chinese attack on Taiwan] again, because we know what is going to happen,” Hinote said.

“The definitive answer if the U.S. military doesn’t change course is that we’re going to lose fast. In that case, an American president would likely be presented with almost a fait accompli.”

Around September 2020, the U.S. Air Force gamed out a conflict set more than a decade in the future, which started with a Chinese biological-weapon attack on U.S. ships and bases in the Indo-Pacific region, according to the outlet. Using military drills as a cover, Beijing then deploys an invasion force to attack Taiwan, while targeting U.S. bases and ships in the region with missile strikes, the outlet said.

Last fall, the U.S. Air Force simulated a conflict set more than a decade in the future that began with a Chinese biological-weapon attack that swept through U.S. bases and warships in the Indo-Pacific region. Then a major Chinese military exercise was used as cover for the deployment of a massive invasion force. The simulation culminated with Chinese missile strikes raining down on U.S. bases and warships in the region, and a lightning air and amphibious assault on the island of Taiwan.

This is the first time that the outcome of that simulation has been made public.

Since President Joe Biden took office on Jan. 20, the Chinese Communist Party has escalated its war-mongering toward Taiwan, a democratic self-ruled island that Beijing claims as a part of its territory. In late January, a Chinese military official threatened war against the island.

Beijing also has sent military planes into Taiwan’s air defense identification zone (ADIZ) on a nearly daily basis since the start of this year. Most recently on March 10, a Chinese anti-submarine warfare aircraft entered southwestern Taiwan’s ADIZ, according to Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense.

New Report on 2020 Election Shows Nearly Impossible “Statistical Contrasts” that “Merit Closer Investigation”

Another statistical report released this week shows the nearly impossible probabilities in the 2020 election results.

Experts this time performed a Contrast Analysis review of the 2020 Presidential results and many items stand out that just don’t make sense.

S. Stanley Young, PhD, FASA, FAAAS and Ray Blehar, Analyst created a report labeled: 2020 Presidential Election Contrast Analysis.

This is the first report of its kind that we are aware of.

In the report the experts share the following all based on publicly available data used in conducting this analysis:

Following the 2020 election, the reliability of voting results in several states (particularly swing states) has come under question. To assist in identifying statistical anomalies, we put together a summary sheet of some worthwhile state-related data for 2016 and 2020. (Feel free to download this Excel document in tabular form, where you can sort by any column, with a single click.)

One method of identifying possible unreliable voting results is to examine publicly available voting totals using a method called contrast analysis. One way of doing a contrast would be to look at the Biden versus Trump 2020 vote results, and compare that to Clinton versus Trump in 2016. For example, in California the totals and the contrast were: In other words, in California, Biden beat Trump by 5± million votes (2020), whereas Clinton beat Trump by 4± million (2016). Doing the arithmetic, the contrast is 833,843 votes. (Statisticians call this the Difference of the Differences, or DoD.)

Note that Trump increased his California vote total by 1.5± million votes. However, Biden increased the Democrat candidate’s vote total by 2.3± million. Where did California find 3.8± million more votes in 2020 than in 2016? Easy, you say: California’s population has increased.

That’s a good thought, but between 2016 and 2020, the Census Bureau says that the population of California increase by less than 700,000 people. (Note that this includes children not old enough to vote, non-citizens, non-registered citizens, etc.). On the face of it, that significant vote increase does not appear to be logically explainable.

A statistical contrast is not proof of voting fraud, but a large contrast does point to situations that might merit closer examination.

Newt Gingrich locked out of Twitter for criticizing Biden immigration policy

Former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Newt Gingrich was locked out of his Twitter account for over a week after he published a tweet that criticized the Biden administration’s approach to the southern border and raised concern over immigrants crossing the border illegally who may be infected with COVID-19.

“If there is a covid surge in Texas the fault will not be Governor [Greg] Abbott’s common sense reforms. The greatest threat of a covid surge comes from Biden’s untested illegal immigrants pouring across the border. We have no way of knowing how many of them are bringing covid with them,” Gingrich tweeted on March 3.

Twitter promptly sent Gingrich a message explaining that his account was locked for “violating rules against hateful conduct.”

In an opinion piece published in The Washington Times, Gingrich defended his tweet saying that he was reacting to a recent story that said federal officials had no way of testing people who are picked up by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol — or forcing them to quarantine.

In order to unlock his account, Gingrich was required to delete his tweet or go through an appeals process. Gingrich assumed he received this message by accident.

“Thinking this must have been an error somehow generated by the company’s algorithm, we sent Twitter a message pointing out that my tweet didn’t “promote violence against, threaten, or harass” anyone. We asked that my account be released,” Gingrich said.

Twitter reiterated to Gingrich that his tweet had broken their rules of conduct.

“I fail to see how drawing attention to the public health dangers of massive illegal immigration during a pandemic can be censored. So, to unlock my account, I deleted the tweet this morning,” Gingrich wrote.

“There was no reason to censor my tweet or lock my account,” Gingrich continued. “Nothing in the flagged tweet “promotes violence against, threatens, or harasses” anyone. It is simply pointing out the fact that those entering the country illegally are not tested for COVID-19 and could be a health risk.”

In an open letter to Twitter officials, Gingrich posed the following questions:

Do the Twitter censors acknowledge that we are in a pandemic?

Do the Twitter censors acknowledge that testing is a key tool in fighting the pandemic?

Do the Twitter censors acknowledge that, unlike people entering the country legally, people who come into the United States illegally are not tested for COVID-19?

Do the Twitter censors acknowledge that, unlike U.S. citizens, people who come into the country illegally are unlikely to voluntarily get tested because they are trying to keep a low profile?

If so, how exactly do they justify censoring discussion of the threat to public health posed by people coming into the U.S. illegally without being tested?

Gingrich noted that the vast majority of those being silenced online are conservatives.

“This entire experience has made it even more clear to me that Twitter is only interested in censoring conservatives,” Gingrich said.

Embattled Governor Andrew Cuomo Defends Democratic Tradition of Sexual Harassment

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D., N.Y.) on Friday defended his refusal to resign by invoking the Democratic Party’s proud tradition of consequence-free sexual misadventure.

The embattled governor, who faces numerous accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior, blamed the scandal on "very different theories within the Democratic Party," suggesting that younger, more progressive members were out of touch with the party’s storied history, and the contributions of legendary perverts such as Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy, and Chris Dodd.

Cuomo bravely spoke his truth after repeatedly questioning the motives of his accusers and those calling on him to resign, including left-wing celebrity Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.). "People know the difference between playing politics, bowing to cancel culture and the truth," he said.

In refusing to resign while facing multiple investigations and possible impeachment, Cuomo joins a long line of Democratic statesmen who refused to let criminal misdeeds get in the way of politics.

Many thought Ted Kennedy’s political career would end after the 1969 "incident" in which Kennedy drove a car into a pond, leading to the death by drowning of 28-year-old Mary Jo Kopechne. But Kennedy persevered, and went on to serve another 40 years in the Senate, during which time he was best known for making "waitress sandwiches" with fellow Democratic senator Chris Dodd (D., Conn.).

Like Kennedy, Dodd refused to let the fact that he publicly forced himself on a screaming waitress stand in the way of success. After leaving the Senate, he became a lobbyist for the Motion Picture Association of America, where he maintained a "friendship" with convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein, a longtime Democratic donor. In 2020, then-candidate Joe Biden tapped Dodd to head his vice-presidential selection committee while refusing to answer questions about his own legacy of alleged sexual harassment.

Biden refused to bow out, and won the election. At the same time, former president Bill Clinton, a notorious skirt chaser who was impeached for hooking up with his 22-year-old intern, has been remarkably resilient in the face of the so-called #MeToo movement. His wife, Hillary, almost became president in 2016 but was ultimately deemed even less likable than Donald Trump.

Biden's been handling Cuomo's scandal like an old pro, refusing to answer questions about allegations against the governor at his own press conferences. Across the Potomac, Justin Fairfax (D.) still serves as lieutenant governor of Virginia despite facing multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

A lesser Democrat might bow out after more than 30 women described his creepy, perverted behavior to New York magazine. But not Cuomo. Like the proud Democrats of old, the "Luv Guv" plans to stand his ground. He recently retained the services of a top defense lawyer best known for defending Weinstein and Woody Allen. He already won an Emmy. His mommy still supports him. Resign? Not a chance.
