In the case of SARS Cov2, the researchers chose to design a test that checks for the "E-protien", which unfortunately is not isolated to just SARS Cov2, but all the other 6 Covids as well. In theory, the vaccine thus developed is actually a Covid vaccine, which would apply to any of the viruses with the E protien. Maybe I have that wrong, but it seems sloppy as hell. Don't isolate the actual Covid variant they CLAIM is so deadly, rather just design a generic test and vax so that you can make the data say anything.
