The only "truth" any of us know is what we can see, feel and experience in our small part of the world. Everything else is taken on faith. Everything.
All the news stories from around the world, you must take them on faith since we are not there.
Christian truth or athiest truth or something in between, we all have the free will to choose.
I choose Christ since it provides me a foundation that I can live by, and the ability to ask forgiveness and repent when I make mistakes, which is often.
I choose not to become a member of a church as they are man made and subject to corruption - see Vatican.
I do know that I have much more personal peace since I have found Christ.
