Zucker is a huge step above other NYS officials. He was doing his BS at McGill and working on anti-gravity while the university was funded for MK-Ultra. Why would he step down from prestigious and well-paying positions to work for 250K (guessing, since the state salary is usually supplemented by federal money)? I'm sure someone wants Zucker's reputation as a public health physician to come out of this intact..
You're correct though that some NYS politicians, like the Chancellor of SUNY are fair game. There was an article in the Times Union today about how the Chancellor helped to change the report on COVID deaths.
