Jagger wearing a Strat?
LMAO! Other commenter was pretty funny too…))
Mick's was cabled in at least, not sure if the amp was on…? Kinda like Brian Jones' last appearance with the band.
More of a Who & Doors fan here.
A couple of judges are doing Session's job, they'll end up dismissing the cases against those indicted. In Manafort's case, SC has 2 weeks to come up with the Aug 2nd memo. In the Russian Hacker case, SC has about 5 years of work on 'discovery' the defense has requested.
>if you haven't heard of the Laurel Canyon connection
Yeah, I followed that guy for a while, sad to have heard he had died. CIA/MI pushing drugs thru built up rock stars who are children, like Zappa.
Satanic Majesty's Request? Album Covers show it followed Magical Mystery Tour by the look of things. As for Morrison, closest voice to Elvis it seems. Many, many breads ago I referred to him as an 'Admiral's son' who was well aware of perversion in the religious ranks, "YOU cannot petition the Lord with prayer…"
> i'd also made the connection…
I didn't really realize it until I heard 'Riders on the Storm' for about the 1,000 time. 'Break on Thru' is a bit more obscure. When 'Absolutely Live' first came out, the album cover was horizontal with JM in shades and Densmore perched above the rest. They should have left it alone.
> i wondered how it'd never hit me before… and in many other subtle (or not so) ways they had similarities…
I wondered the same damn thing? Hidden in plain sight. Was never much of an Elvis fan, was working with a lot of illegals in a factory for summer work during college, the Mexicans were in total shock. The guy was a whore & a half, Morrison had quite the female following also. Jim's remarks on the future of the music industry were quite…'prophetic.'
>Q is always mentioning this a movie.
I know, it's kind of stupid, too.
Real people are being killed, like not in the movies.
