‘OPERATION HONEYCOMB:’ 40 indicted in massive drug trafficking ring that included 2 day care centers

MINEOLA, N.Y. – Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas announced that 40 people have been indicted as part of Operation Honeycomb for their alleged involvement in a major narcotic trafficking ring that operates in the Hempstead area.

DA Singas said that the NCDA with the ATF started investigating an increase of violence and drug-dealing in the Hempstead area in October 2019. After several drug and gun purchases, the NCDA applied for electronic eavesdropping warrants in February 2020 for the purpose of identifying large-scale narcotic suppliers in the Hempstead area.

The COVID-19 pandemic emerged in March 2020 and as a result, the cost of cocaine began to vary widely, with demand vastly exceeding supply. Cocaine prices rose from approximately $32,000 per kilogram to a peak of $55,000 per kilogram in August 2020.

Five defendants allegedly sold a cocktail of heroin, fentanyl and cocaine. One defendant allegedly cut heroin with fentanyl and morphine.

Data from the County Medical Examiner’s toxicology lab through September 2020, indicates that fatal overdoses have spiked more than 30%. Additionally, an opioid was detected in 83 per cent of the fatal overdoses involving cocaine.

As the investigation expanded, nine individuals emerged as alleged major traffickers: Able McTootle, Eric Butler, Willy Matias, Allen Evans, Eric Poston, Matthew Williams a/k/a Vernon Howard, Orlando Ramsay, Rodney Highsmith and an unapprehended co-defendant. The crime of operating as a major trafficker requires the aggregate value of narcotics possessed or sold by the trafficker to exceed $75,000 during a period of six months or less. The charge carries a potential maximum sentence of 25 – life.

These individuals allegedly acted as major suppliers to numerous smaller dealers in Nassau County and variously worked together to obtain and distribute narcotics.

Prosecutors allege that drugs were trafficked from as far away as Puerto Rico, as well as California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

US, Allies Oppose Syria Elections, Blame Assad for 10 Years of War

Top diplomats of the United States, France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom in a joint statement challenged the legitimacy of this year's proposed presidential election in Syria and said that it should not lead to any international normalisation with the country's authorities.

The statement from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio and UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab marks the 10th anniversary of the world’s bloodiest ongoing conflict.

"The proposed Syrian Presidential election this year will neither be free nor fair, nor should it lead to any measure of international normalisation with the Syrian regime," the top diplomats said on Monday.

Syria is set to hold the presidential election in spring, per its constitution. President Bashar Assad told Sputnik in October that it was "early" for him to talk about his potential candidacy in the upcoming vote.

The Western diplomats called for a political process with the participation of all Syrians, including the diaspora and the displaced.

"Our nations commit to reinvigorating the pursuit of a peaceful solution which protects the rights and future prosperity of all Syrians, based on UN Security Council Resolution 2254," the diplomats said. "Clear progress towards an inclusive political process and an end to the repression of the Syrian people is essential. We cannot allow this tragedy to last another decade."

The diplomats also said Assad and his supporters "bear responsibility for the years of war and human suffering that followed."

They renewed calls for a nationwide ceasefire, unhindered aid access and an inclusive political process, promised support for efforts to investigate and prosecute crimes committed in Syria and warned Damascus against non-compliance with the Chemical Weapons Convention.

The Syrian government has repeatedly denied accusations of using toxic substances and insists that it has been repelling an aggression of international terrorists exacerbated by foreign powers’ military intervention.

Macron warns of more Covid-19 measures 'in coming days' amid France's stubbornly high infection rate and new pressure on hospitals

France will likely be hit with further restrictive measures in the next few days in a bid to curb the country's rising Covid-19 infection rate, French President Emmanuel Macron warned on Monday.

"We will have to take in the days to come, no doubt, new decisions," Macron said during a summit with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

The French president said his officials were working quickly on deploying new measures, because the virus is the "master of time."

He added that any new restrictions must take into account multiple factors, including the protection of the most vulnerable, the education of young people, the health system and the economy.

The incoming Covid curbs follow steady rises in infection rates in France throughout January and February, with Paris now an area of particular concern.

The president of the Ile-de-France region, which surrounds the French capital, warned on Monday of a "very violent third wave" of infections as the area's case rate approached 400 per 100,000 people.

If the rate in the region hits 400 cases per 100,000 it could be placed into a weekend lockdown, as has happened with Nice and Dunkirk.

Local media have reported that some Covid-19 patients have already been flown from Paris to the southern region of Occitanie because the capital's intensive care wards are almost at full capacity due to its high infection rate.

On Sunday France posted 26,343 new Covid-19 cases, a decrease from the 29,759 reported on Saturday, according to health ministry data.

Macron also announced that France would become the latest European nation to suspend its rollout of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine due to fears the jab may cause blood clotting.

The suspension will last for at least 24 hours, pending a new opinion by the EU’s drug regulator, the European Medicines Agency, which is expected on Tuesday.

Georgia Judge Announces He May Unseal Fulton County Absentee Ballots for Fraud Investigation and Review

In November a Georgia poll watcher noticed the suspicious shift in votes from President Trump to Joe Biden while monitoring the interim election results on the Georgia secretary of state website.

Voter GA co-founder Garland Favorito swore in an affidavit in November with the secretary of state’s office that, “I concluded from looking at these results that this was an irregularity since there was no obvious reason for President Trump’s totals to have decreased while former Vice President Biden’s totals increased dramatically.”

Favorito continued to research the Dominion voting machines fluctuations and “glitches” and found more evidence of votes being switched from President Trump to Joe Biden elsewhere in the state.

Then in December elections officials in Ware County Georgia confirmed that they found votes switched from President Trump to Joe Biden when they entered equal numbers of ballots for each candidate through the Dominion Voting machines.

Garland Favorito has been speaking out against the obvious voting irregularities in Georgia for months now.

On Monday Georgia Superior Court Judge Brian Amero announced he was inclined to unseal the votes to allow them to be inspected by Garland Favorito.

A judge in Georgia might unseal absentee ballots in the state’s Fulton County so a government watchdog can investigate voter fraud allegations.

Henry County Superior Court Judge Brian Amero said he is inclined to order the ballots unsealed and reviewed by experts hired by Garland Favorito, an advocate of voting integrity, according to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Amero, during a Monday court hearing, said that if the ballots are unsealed, there needs to be a plan in order to make sure they’re kept in secret and kept secure.

“We want to do this in such a way that dispels rumors and disinformation and sheds light,” Amero said. “The devil’s in the details.”

He made the comment after a lawsuit filed in a Fulton County Superior Court contended that fraudulent ballots were cast during the Nov. 3, 2020, election amid other alleged irregularities as workers counted votes at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Election Night.

China is clearly the rising threat to the U.S. Navy. They’re building their fourth aircraft carrier right now; they’re going further and further out to sea, harassing other countries vessels, and threatening Taiwan. But the Navy thinks news website with conservative points of view are the real enemy — but honest, they’re not evil people!

That’s the woman who has led the spying operation against us. I’ve left her a voice message and sent her an email to ask about it, but she hasn’t got back to me yet. If she does, I’ll let you know. Then again, the friendly friends at the U.S. Navy might choose to, you know, shut down our website instead of returning my calls.

The U.S. Navy funded the University of Arkansas, in Little Rock, to use a program called “Spy on Web”, to do a work-up on Rebel News. And they produced this report, called the Canada Elections Cyber Forensics Analysis, October 10, 2019. Which is quite something, given that the election wasn’t actually until 11 days later. But as you’ll soon see, they knew what they were going to write before they did their “research”.

The judiciary in Biella, in northern Italy, opened a preliminary probe into the death of 57-year-old Sandro Tognatti, whose cause of death remains unknown. They stressed that there is no link to AstraZeneca's vaccine at this stage and the probe is intended to establish whether anyone has a case to answer.

It came as Italians woke up to fresh lockdown restrictions today, with 13 of the country's 21 regions now in a 'red zone' meaning schools, restaurants, shops and museums have to close, and people cannot leave their homes except for work, health or other essential reasons.Another seven regions have been declared 'orange zones', meaning shops and beauticians can remain open except during a night-time curfew, while all other venues have to close and travel outside the local area is restricted. Just one region, Sardinia, is in a lockdown-free 'white zone'.

Italy also temporarily banned the use of all AstraZeneca vaccines amid fears it causes blood clots, with France and Germany also enacting bans and saying they are waiting for European regulators to give guidance.

The European Medicines Agency said last week that there is no reason to halt use of the jab and that 'the benefits outweigh the risks of side effects', but its investigation is continuing and another report is due Thursday.

It comes after Ireland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Bulgaria also suspended the jabs. Austria, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia have impounded one batch of vaccines thought to be linked to clots.

It is just the latest episode in a long-running saga between EU countries and drug-maker AstraZeneca over its vaccine, which has seen ministers accuse the company of nationalism, impose export bans on its jabs, wrongly claim it is not effective in over-65s and reopen old wounds with recently-departed Brexit Britain.
