Trump has been blamed for every flu, heart attack, car crash, toaster electrocution since Feb 2020, because he "failed' the "covid" response, while responding to every possible weakness Fauci and Birx spouted out on TV. Ventilators, Mercy ships, etc.
Can you imagine if he had poo-pooed the "pandemic" and any government "doctor", or health agencies recommendation? I remember what happened when Trump said, at a rally before the lockdowns started, that the dems were "playing up" the covid pandemic for political purposes. He was right, but the MSM ate him up.
Hydrochloroquine, other treatments, etc., garnered the same ridicule. Remember the "bleach" dust up? How that statement was parsed into a fairy tale?
He wasn't going to win any battle by not following official "medical" agency guidelines. Just pissing into the wind. "Medical" wanted vaccines, what's he supposed to do? Vaccines got the rallies back, at least, that showed his true support. That eventually blew up the dem plan to stop the rallies and let fake polls justify a Bidan win.
Trump had to re-group and set up a front he could attack from. No forces behind him could counter the artillery coming from the DS government side while he was POTUS and subject to pelosi's bullshit. Trump's political position was a liability.
