Just curious because I don't regularly follow the plane fag report posts, if any plane fag has heard themselves, read official logs, etc., that reference Bidan flying on AF-1, since he was inaugurated. I found out not long ago that any plane the POTUS is on is designated AF-1 while used in that capacity, so not just the official plane we are familiar with.

Richard Choi, the husband of Toronto’s top doctor, has been arrested for fraud, extortion, money laundering, and other serious offences in relation to his work at AstraZeneca. He is alleged to have been caught putting illegal “pressure” on his wife to enact strict COVID policies on the people of Toronto. According to police, he used threats of violence and financial ruin to get his wife to comply. It is unclear if Eileen de Villa will face any charges, but Toronto Police have stated it is not off the table.

The groundbreaking media report that lead to the arrest was made by Diverge Media. Prior to the report, speculation was rampant on social media, with many accusing de Villa of being dishonest about her husband’s financial interest in AstraZeneca. The report was passed on to the Financial Crimes Unit of Toronto Police, and an investigation was launched.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s contributor page and her articles are now marked with notes posted on July 3, 2020 distancing the publication from Maxwell. The note on Maxwell’s HuffPost contributor page reads, “Editor’s Note: Maxwell published four articles to HuffPost’s now-defunct blog between 2014 and 2015. Maxwell, like all contributors to the blog platform, received no compensation for these articles, and she has no association or relationship with HuffPost. Catch of a lifetime': 12-foot great white shark caught and released on Pensacola Beach

Two hours into the very first saltwater fishing trip of their lives March 3, seven friends from Idaho caught a great white shark on Pensacola Beach.

 

That's a wildly high bar to set for future fishing trips, and the Pensacola charter captain who made the catch possible let them know as much.

 

"I told them, 'I've been doing this for five years and you guys just caught a great white about an hour and a half into the trip,'" said John McLean, the charter captain of his own Big John Shark Fishing Adventures company. "You may never see this again."

 

McLean, a retired former goalie for the Pensacola Ice Flyers, runs six-hour, eight-hour and all-night charters in which he guides groups of people on private shark fishing trips. This particular trip March 3 just happened to net one of the most astounding catch-and-release experiences of McLean's life.

I would say it's an 80% chance that you'll catch (a shark) on one of my trips, but it's fishing so you never know," McLean said. "The coolest part with it for me is, you never know what's going to be on the other end of the line. So this was just so unique and obviously a catch of a lifetime."

 

McLean said the adrenaline was flowing during the 40-minute fight, which occurred about 100 yards offshore. He said he dropped three baits that night, all past the second sandbar on the beach. The bait that landed the great white was a 16-inch Bonita fish purchased from Gulf Breeze Bait and Tackle.

 

McLean said just one of the Homedale, Idaho, natives made the reel.

 

 

"I've caught 12-foot tiger sharks and hammerheads, so one thing with these bigger sharks is, sometimes they don't always know they're hooked," said McLean, who posted the entire catch on his YouTube channel. "The shark really didn't start fighting until he saw the second sandbar, which is roughly 350 yards from the beach. If you watch the video you can see where he's just really pulling line.

Great whites are federally protected to the point that fishermen aren't permitted to take them out of the water to measure, but McLean said the shark was at least 12 feet long. He estimated that it weighed 1,200 pounds.

 

When it came to the shark's identity, McLean said there was no mistaking it.

 

"I saw the black eyes on it and the fin is very recognizable compared to others," McLean said. "So my main thing was, 'I need to get this released.'"

 

McLean has a custom de-hooker that maintains about two feet of distance between the shark and the person releasing it.

 

"The hook was right in the corner of the mouth so we were able to pop the hook out, no blood, and it was within minutes that we were able to release it," he said. "It was such a big shark though, and my adrenaline was pumping, so in the moment I'm standing there in chest-deep water and all I wanted to do was make sure this thing swam off. It wasn't until I got back and started calming down that I thought, 'Holy cow, I was in chest-deep water with a potentially 1,200-pound great white shark.'"

 

For the Idaho visitors with whom McLean shared the incredible moment, the catch that day was the norm; they had nothing to compare it to, after all.

 

"After I released it and everything they came up to me and said, 'Honestly John, if you weren't as excited as you were we would have thought this was a normal thing,'" McLean said.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) complained Thursday about a “different standard” she believes is affecting public reaction to the sexual harassment allegations engulfing New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D).

Matt and Melissa Graves created the Lane Thomas Foundation after their son was killed by an alligator in 2016. The Omaha couple said they decided to focus on pediatric organ donation because they wanted to help other families fighting for their children's lives and they wanted to help kids because their son loved other children.

 

“Because we know the pain of losing a child, we wanted to focus on an issue where we believe we can help prevent other parents from knowing our pain. Lane Thomas Graves was playing on a beach outside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in June 2016 when an alligator grabbed him and dragged him into the lake. He was gathering sand for a sand castle when the alligator attacked. Matt Graves jumped into the water but was unable to rescue his son. Lane’s body was found 16 hours later.

Early this AM, we had a National Jet Charter LJ45 hop across the pond from Ft. Lauderdale, it's currently on the return leg home.

 

We have an IBC Airways SF34 en route to Gitmo from Miami Intl. IBC is a charter company that has passenger planes, as well as cargo planes. The SF34 under flight ID of CSQ895 is registration number N681BC. Done some digging and at one time it was under private ownership until December 2017 where it was registered under the "Bank of Utah-Trustees". I thought that was rather interdasting. It's now operated by IBC Air (not sure when that transfer happened).

Kristin Smart case: Paul Flores named 'prime suspect,' his family home searched

 

California sheriff’s deputies on Monday served a search warrant to the family home of Paul Flores, whom authorities have named a "prime suspect" in the 1996 disappearance of Kristin Smart.

 

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office said they searched the Arroyo Grande home of Ruben Flores, the father of Paul Flores, around 7:30 a.m.

 

The sheriff’s office said it was authorized to use cadaver dogs and ground penetrating radar (GPR) during the course of the search – a process that could take up to two days to complete.

Traffic into the neighborhood was restricted to residents only. The sheriff’s office said it is precluded by law from disclosing any further details and will not be releasing additional information at this time.

 

The investigation is active and ongoing.

 

In a statement obtained by FOX 11, the Smart family said they are "encouraged by news of today’s search of Ruben Flores’ property."

 

"We appreciate the vigilance and professionalism of Sheriff Ian Parkinson and his department and our family looks forward to learning more in the hours and days ahead," the statement read.

Kristin Smart was a student at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, when she vanished while walking home from a party in 1996. Paul Flores, who was also a student at the time, was seen with her, but he has never been arrested or charged.

Their wearable displays are reportedly about as bright as the average flat-screen TV and their performance prototype withstood 1,000 cycles of bending, stretching and pressing, and somewhat miraculously, 100 cycles of washing and drying.

 

Not content with this stress test, the Chinese material wizards took things a step further and developed an interactive, 16-button fabric keyboard, comprising solar-energy-harvesting threads. That’s right, a light-up garment that charges itself, thanks to interwoven battery fibers.

 

Prototype users could send and receive messages from their sleeves and see their real-time locations displayed on a map, while added electronics afforded wireless bluetooth capabilities to the clever clothes.

When asked to play a high-intensity racing game, the opposite occurred, as the display indicated they were “anxious.”

FBI facing allegation that its 2018 background check of Brett Kavanaugh was ‘fake’

 

The FBI is facing new scrutiny for its 2018 background check of Brett Kavanaugh, the supreme court justice, after a lawmaker suggested that the investigation may have been “fake”.

 

Sheldon Whitehouse, a Democratic senator and former prosecutor who serves on the judiciary committee, is calling on the newly-confirmed attorney general, Merrick Garland, to help facilitate “proper oversight” by the Senate into questions about how thoroughly the FBI investigated Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearing.

 

The supreme court justice was accused of sexual assault by Christine Blasey Ford and faced several other allegations of misconduct following Ford’s harrowing testimony of an alleged assault when she and Kavanaugh were in high school.

 

Kavanaugh denied the claims.

 

The FBI was called to investigate the allegations during the Senate confirmation process but was later accused by some Democratic senators of conducting an incomplete background check. For example, two key witnesses – Ford and Kavanaugh – were never interviewed as part of the inquiry.

 

Among the concerns listed in Whitehouse’s letter to Garland are allegations that some witnesses who wanted to share their accounts with the FBI could not find anyone at the bureau who would accept their testimony and that it had not assigned any individual to accept or gather evidence.

 

“This was unique behavior in my experience, as the Bureau is usually amenable to information and evidence; but in this matter the shutters were closed, the drawbridge drawn up, and there was no point of entry by which members of the public or Congress could provide information to the FBI,” Whitehouse said.

 

He added that, once the FBI decided to create a “tip line”, senators were not given any information on how or whether new allegations were processed and evaluated. While senators’ brief review of the allegations gathered by the tip line showed a “stack” of information had come in, there was no further explanation on the steps that had been taken to review the information, Whitehouse said.

 

“This ‘tip line’ appears to have operated more like a garbage chute, with everything that came down the chute consigned without review to the figurative dumpster,” he said.

 

He also criticized FBI director Chris Wray, who Joe Biden has elected to remain in place, for not answering questions about the investigation.

 

The FBI did not respond to a request for comment. The DOJ did not respond to a request for comment.

 

While it is unclear whether the FBI would re-open an investigation into Kavanaugh, who is now one of nine justices on the supreme court, the letter could push Garland to force the DOJ to respond to questions about the investigation into Kavanaugh.

 

Whitehouse said he is seeking answers about “how, why, and at whose behest” the FBI conducted a “fake” investigation if standard procedures were violated, including standards for following allegations gathered through FBI “tip lines”.
