My local talk radio buffoon is going on about deep fakes and pedophilia this morning. I wonder if his addled brain thought that up or if clear channel is pushing it downstream.
All video will eventually be suspect unless it's been secured somehow before the tech was mature enough to fool anyone.
Let's consider for a moment where some of the important evidence resides.
Hunter's laptop has been in FBI custody sine 2017.
Weiner's laptop has been in the possession of the NYPD and the FBI since 2017.
The Awan/ Wasserman Schultz laptop has been in the possession of the Capitol police since… you guessed it 2017.
Given that all of these devices have been in secure custody since 2017, any evidence found on them would bypass any claims of deep fakery.
