It’s ‘Communist’ Not ‘Critical Race Theory,’ Folks

By Thaddeus G. McCotter March 12, 2021

It is hard to believe, but Joe Biden may not even be America’s most accomplished plagiarist. The “antiracist” radicals can stake a claim, given their own renown and remuneration and their ruination of others.

By plagiarizing the tenets of communist China’s Cultural Revolution, the anti-racist grifters have turned white progressives’ self-loathing masochism into a veritable pinata of perks, power, profit, and tenured sinecures in the bowels of academia and corporations.

Consider this excerpt from the 1966 People’s Daily op-ed by Chen Boda, “Sweep Away All Monsters and Demons” that kicked off the carnage of Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution:

The proletarian cultural revolution is aimed not only at demolishing all the old ideology and culture and all the old customs and habits, which, fostered by the exploiting classes, have poisoned the minds of the people for thousands of years, but also at creating and fostering among the masses an entirely new ideology and culture and entirely new customs and habits — those of the proletariat. This great task of transforming customs and habits is without any precedent in human history. As for all the heritage, customs and habits of the feudal and bourgeois classes, the proletarian world outlook must be used to subject them to thoroughgoing criticism. It takes time to clear away the evil habits of the old society from among the people. Nevertheless, our experience since liberation proves that the transformation of customs and habits can be accelerated if the masses are fully mobilized, the mass line is implemented and the transformation is made into a genuine mass movement.

Sound familiar? Perhaps, the following will clarify matters:

The WOKE revolution is aimed not only at demolishing SYSTEMIC RACISM and IMPLICIT BIASES, which, fostered by the WHITE SUPREMACISTS, have poisoned the minds of the people SINCE 1619, but also at creating and fostering among the masses an entirely new ANTIRACISM and EQUITY—those of the ANTIRACISTS. This great task of transforming SYSTEMIC RACISM and IMPLICIT BIASES is without any precedent in human history. As for all the SYSTEMIC RACISM and IMPLICIT BIASES of WHITE SUPREMACISTS and PEOPLE OF COLOR WHO THINK WHITE, the ANTIRACIST world outlook must be used to subject them to thoroughgoing CANCELLATIONS. It takes time to clear away the SYSTEMIC RACISM and IMPLICIT BIASES of WHITE SUPREMACISTS from among the people. Nevertheless, our experience since liberation proves that the transformation of SYSTEMIC RACISM and IMPLICIT BIASES can be accelerated if the WOKE are fully mobilized, the CRITICAL RACE THEORY is implemented and the ANTIRACIST transformation is made into a genuine mass movement.

While terms and usages are malleable—such as “antiracist” for “anti-rightist,” “whiteness” for “bourgeois,” and so on, ad nauseam—these left-wing grifters have merely substituted race for class. Ergo, the “antiracists” ideological Trojan horse’s ass, critical race theory, is really just Communist race theory. It has been plagiarized from Communism and weaponized to prey upon Americans’ abhorrence of racism and prejudice to cancel everything our nation cherishes, and then usher in a miasmatic cesspool of totalitarian socialism or Communism.

Are We Still Free?

https://oathkeepers.org/2021/03/are-we-still-free/

Joe Biden doesn’t understand the meaning of Independence Day.

By Angela Kelley March 13, 2021

After having lived together through the lost year of 2020-21, many of my long-held beliefs regarding this country have sadly slipped away.

Like many of us, when the lockdowns first began, I believed the directives were basically suggestions from the government that, for our own protection, we needed to close everything down for 15 days. Let’s face it, nearly everyone was scared out of their minds listening to the “experts” saying this would probably kill millions of Americans in 2020, and we complied out of duty and obligation to other citizens and our families. We were only doing what seemed prudent. We were sure we would come out the other side, begin our lives again, and if things were not in a completely normal state, then they’d only be somewhat modified.

But when the state governments began picking and choosing which businesses could reopen and which ones could not—coming up with crazy and specific lists of how businesses may reopen, and demanding everyone wear masks—I realized government “suggestions” actually had teeth and were not suggestions at all.

Apparently, emergency powers supersede all constitutional rights. I did not realize before the pandemic that this was the case. Although some governors, like Kristi Noem of South Dakota, put trust in her citizens after giving them the information they needed, refusing to lock down and cripple her state businesses and citizens, too many other Republican governors followed the herd. Unbeknownst to me, we actually live in large fiefdoms called states in which you may have either a freedom loving governor, a benevolent dictator, or a medieval king doling out crumbs to the masses and telling them to eat cake when they complain.

.

Pre-pandemic, I also believed that the American people would never put up with such an obvious political power ploy as mandating mask-wearing outside in beaches and parks. If you’ve ever seen the poor indoctrinated souls driving in their cars alone wearing a mask (or two!) or bicycling with their masks on, then you know my prior belief was quickly put to bed.

…

Possibly the strongest belief I had going into last year and the one I was saddest to lose when I realized it simply wasn’t true anymore, was the belief that we were still a free country.

Biden’s teleprompter speech Thursday evening paraded his non-belief in the Constitution. While claiming to be a unity president, not only did he give President Trump and his team zero credit for getting the vaccine fast-tracked and the country supplied with at least 100 million doses, he, Emperor No-Clothes, pronounced that he has decided we might be able to get outside with our close family members for the 4th of July, only if we are good boys and girls.

If the new normal means the Democrats-in-charge will have the power to dictate the nature of small outdoor family gatherings two full months after his goal of getting every willing person vaccinated, then Biden doesn’t understand the meaning of Independence Day.

Tyranny Through Subverting Language

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Movement: Tyranny Through Subverting Language

by Jay Schalin Mar 15, 2021

The political left has proven itself to be amazingly incompetent when it comes to governing. Examples abound of nations, states, and cities—even those with tremendous wealth, resources, and other advantages—reduced to nightmare zones of poverty, violence, and corruption. Think of Venezuela, Cuba, California, Detroit, and Baltimore.

Yet, there is one area in which the left excels to a remarkable degree: the attainment of power and advancement of its political aims.

Every year, every month, and every day, somewhere in the nation the left is implementing or proposing some action that will further its agenda. Consider the breakneck speed at which the Biden administration is dismantling its predecessor’s reforms and advancing the “woke” agenda. Instead of concerning itself with how to govern well, the left’s intellectual energies are spent on crafting tactics to exploit the weak spots in our electoral processes, our laws, and our policies. It has a vast array of weapons of its disposal, from Saul Alinsky’s organizing tactics to bureaucratic state encroachments on democracy to the anarchic violence of Antifa and Black Lives Matter, and so forth.

One of the left’s most successful tactics is the manipulation of language. The meaning of words is gradually but deliberately changed to alter perceptions and to enable large policy and cultural changes to occur without much notice.

Academia is especially vulnerable to such linguistic subterfuge, and in the past year, many universities have greatly advanced the radical agenda through “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (DEI) policies. To most people who still understand those three words according to their traditional meanings, such policies sound benign or enlightening; many would be open to basing guidelines on them.

However, in the lexicon of today’s left-leaning academic bureaucracies, those words—taken individually or together—have new, specific meanings with a sinister bent.

The traditional definition of “diversity” generally means some sort of variation within a population. But it has undergone several transitions in recent times. First, it has been given a normative spin with connotations of goodness—“diversity is our strength,” for example—that Americans have largely accepted. But more recently, a second twist has occurred: The word “diversity” is now used as a descriptor for preferred demographic groups. An all-black gathering is considered to be diverse, while an all-white gathering is not. “Diverse” can even be used to describe an individual if they belong to the right demographic, a meaning that is completely incongruous and seems to be a contradiction of the word’s original definition.

“Equity” is perhaps the most troubling of the three terms. A Minding the Campus article discusses the etymology of the word; a close synonym of its historical meaning is “fairness.” And we’re all for fairness. But fairness, without context or further elaboration, is an elusive concept. Which version of fairness is meant? Is it based on pure meritocracy? Or maybe a sliding scale that mixes merit with indications of compassion and empathy? Or outright equality of outcomes?

According to the Minding the Campus article, “in the last several decades, and certainly in the last 5-10 years, the term equity has been stretched and twisted” into “a weapon to bludgeon our modern society into denying even the most basic differences between human beings.”

It now means that protected classes of people must have proportionate representation—or better—since “the mere fact that achievement gaps exist” between different demographic groups “is taken as proof that there is some inequity that must be remedied.” Those who use the word equity in this fashion invariably claim that the inequity is not due to the actions of individuals, but due to systemic bias, and that the structure of society or of an institution must undergo drastic changes to eliminate this bias.

…

This failure to defend our rights comes from a naïve ignorance of the left’s intentions, or from a lack of will to confront such determined opposition for personal security.
