could be an opportunity for them to stack the deck and say see we told ya so……hopefully not
also not an IT guy by any means, but seems to me to ensure election integrity an agreement should have been made to randomly capture the software that election machines were using during elections so that integrity could be reviewed if in doubt or just proactively reviewed to keep everyone honest
