Chrissy Teigen left little to the imagination in a thirst-trap photo posted on Tuesday that also featured her 2-year-old son Miles.

“Please move, mommy is trying to be thirsty,” the 35-year-old model captioned the topless photo, in which she holds onto her breasts while her toddler walks between her legs.

The picture drew mixed reviews from followers.

One user commented, “Wtf … Am I the only one cringing,” and received more than 700 likes.

Teigen responded, “Wait til the [sic] find out we take baths together.”

However, others found the content relatable, with one person writing, “THE HOT MOM STRUGGLE IS REAL.”

“Shahs of Sunset” star Golnesa Gharachedaghi added, “This is so perfect lol!!!!”

“My poor kids have seen me get ready while running around the house topless more than once,” read another comment.

Teigen has gradually returned to her former level of social media engagement after taking a break following the pregnancy loss she experienced in October.

She and her husband, John Legend, were expecting their third child. (Aside from Miles, they also share 4-year-old daughter Luna.) In November, the couple honored their late son Jack with tattoo tributes.

Teigen also revealed just before the new year that she had been sober for a month, having quit drinking after being spurred on by Holly Whitaker’s book, “Quit Like a Woman: The Radical Choice to Not Drink in a Culture Obsessed with Alcohol.”

In February, she poked fun at one of the boozier moments from her past: her much-memed Golden Globes face.

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden’s Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Avril Haines released a report by the National Intelligence Council, detailing attempts by foreign governments to influence the 2020 U.S. election. The report stated Russia sought to influence the election to support President Donald Trump while at the same time denigrate Biden’s candidacy.

The report also said China did not interfere in the election.

The report states, “We assess that Russian President (Vladimir) Putin authorized, and a range of Russian government organizations conducted, influence operations aimed at denigrating President Biden’s candidacy and the Democratic Party, supporting former President Trump, undermining public confidence in the electoral process and exacerbating sociopolitical divisions in the US.

The report said that, unlike in 2016, U.S. intelligence officials did not see Russian efforts to interfere with the election through cyber efforts.

“Moscow’s strategy this election cycle was its use of proxies linked to Russian intelligence to push influence narratives—including misleading or unsubstantiated allegations against President Biden—to US media organizations, US officials and prominent US individuals, including some close to former President Trump and his administration,” the report adds.

This report totally conflicts with the report from President Trump’s DNI Ratcliffe who claimed China influenced the election back in January.

So Ratcliffe cleaned up the Intel communities’ mess and now it is corrupt again. Good job Democrats. Way to give our country to China.

A number of Republican lawmakers are saying no to COVID-19 vaccines

Republicans are at odds over the wisdom and efficacy of taking the COVID-19 vaccine, undermining national efforts to defeat the coronavirus and reinforcing the views of GOP base voters already reluctant to participate in the ramped-up inoculation program.

Although the top GOP leaders, including Sen. Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and Rep. Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), were quickly vaccinated in December — and encouraged the public to follow suit — a number of high-profile rank-and-file members say they intend to ignore the advice.

Some of those holdouts say they’re concerned the vaccine poses a greater health threat than COVID-19 itself. Others have indicated they don’t want to jump ahead of constituents in line for vaccines of their own. And still others note that, because they contracted COVID-19 over the past year, they have the antibodies to fight the disease in the future, precluding the need to be inoculated.

“I have not chosen to be vaccinated because I got it naturally and the science of 30 million people — and the statistical validity of a 30 million sample — is pretty overwhelming that naturally immunity exists and works,” said Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), an ophthalmologist who contracted the disease last March and does not wear a mask in the Capitol.

“I had COVID,” echoed Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who tested positive for it in October.

Several other Republicans said that, three months after the vaccine became available to members of Congress, they’re still consulting with their doctors about whether they’ll take it.

“I'm still looking at it, I'm listening to my doctor,” said Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), another COVID-19 survivor and former health care executive who is the chairman of the Senate GOP campaign arm.

“In Indiana, it had just recently crossed the threshold, so I was also concerned about not jumping in line ahead of anybody,” said Sen. Mike Braun (R-Ind.). “But I advise you to get the vaccine, and it looks effective and I intend to."

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) praised the vaccination effort and said he himself has been vaccinated. But he made clear that vaccinations should in no way be mandated.

“I’m very glad we have a vaccine. … I’m certainly encouraging people to get vaccinated, but I also think it’s a choice for individual Americans to make,” Cruz said Tuesday.

The hesitancy and muddled messaging arrives as the Biden administration, backed by public health experts, is urging Americans to get a vaccine as soon as they become eligible to do so. The issue, however, has become highly partisan, as a huge swath of Republican voters say they’ll refuse to do so.

A new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist survey found that, among those who voted for former President Trump in 2020, 47 percent have no plan to be vaccinated, versus 10 percent for Biden voters. For Republican men the figure was even higher — 49 percent say they won’t be inoculated — versus 6 percent of Democratic men.

Three individuals were reportedly from Yemen, and the fourth was from Serbia

Four people whose names match those of suspects on the FBI's Terrorist Screening Database have been arrested trying to enter the U.S. from Mexico since Oct. 1 of last year, according to multiple reports.

Axios first reported that U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed to Congress Tuesday that three of the individuals apprehended were Yemen nationals and another was Serbian, citing an unnamed congressional aide who was purportedly "briefed on the correspondence."

Fox News then confirmed the report, citing a congressional aide "familiar with CBP information," noting that the "Serbian national was encountered on Jan. 28, amid an increasing surge in migrant numbers in recent months."

The outlet pointed out that "House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy [R-Calif.] said on Monday, during a visit to the border, that Border Patrol agents had been warning lawmakers about foreign nationals on the terror watch list getting in," adding that "McCarthy said migrants were coming from Yemen, China, Sri Lanka and Iran." Fox also reported that "Border Patrol agents arrested 11 Iranian citizens in Arizona last month."

The Daily Wire reported that Rep. John Katko (R-N.Y.) also warned that terror suspects were "starting to exploit the southern border" under President Joe Biden's loosened policies on border security.

"Individuals that they have on the watch list for terrorism are now starting to exploit the southern border," Katko — the top Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee — said during a press conference at the border. "People who they've got in the last few days… have been on the terror watchlist."

Meanwhile, The Washington Post reported that Democrats dismissed McCarthy's claims, even calling him a liar.

Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) tweeted in reaction to the minority leader's comments, "Weird as the Chairman of the subcommittee on Intelligence and Special Operations and a border state member of Congress haven't heard anything about this. Gonna ask for a briefing. Pretty sure he is either wrong or lying."

Zarif Slams US Meddling in Mideast, Calls on Neighbors to Collaborate for Regional Security

The US sanctions on Iran in response to the country’s nuclear program have prevented Iranian people from getting access to humanitarian imports, such as essential medicines for ailments like epilepsy and cancer.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Tuesday slammed the US’ meddling in the Middle East as well as the US sanctions on Iran during a deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

“[The] US economic war against Iran has consequences, including hurdles in fighting the coronavirus pandemic in Iran,” Zarif said during the second International Tehran Dialogue Forum, where he was joined with Turkish and Afghan counterparts, Press TV reported.

According to a report by Human Rights Watch, the US sanctions against Iran, coupled with the steep depreciation of the Iranian currency, the rial, have had “devastating effects on millions of patients” who rely on essential medicines and medical equipment from outside Iran.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also denounced the unilateral sanctions against Iran, expressing support for Washington’s restoration of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

“We can achieve peace and prosperity together in our region,” he noted.

Afghan Foreign Minister Hanif Atmar also warned about security threats in Afghanistan, warning that the country should not become a breeding ground for terrorists.

During his speech, Zarif also accused the US of spending billions of dollars on its military industry to interfere in the Middle East’s affairs. He also called for dialogue among regional nations to prevent outside interference by the US, noting that “Iran is ready to hold talks with all its neighbors” over the region’s security.

Iran has long advocated that peace be established in the region without any intervention from foreign forces. Iran’s Hormuz Peace Endeavor (HOPE) initiative was disclosed by Iran during the 74th United National General Assembly in 2019. The purpose of the plan is to establish security in the Middle East, including in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman, with the assistance of all countries in the region.

Alexander Reid Ross, disgraced author of several retracted articles, works with ex-cops, CIA spies, and DHS agents

With his entire archive retracted by the Southern Poverty Law Center and a growing record of disgrace, Alexander Reid Ross now collaborates with ex-CIA agents, cops, DHS officials, and a GOP congressman turned “Bigfoot scholar,” with funding from a Koch brother.

Through his many hatchet jobs smearing anti-war leftists as crypto-fascists engaged in a supposed “red-brown” alliance with the far-right, writer Alexander Reid Ross has earned widespread derision and the retraction of his entire archive by one of his former publishers. Ironically, the self-described anarchist is now openly collaborating with a network of former cops, spies, right-wing Republicans, and Department of Homeland Security agents at a militaristic think tank funded in part by billionaire Charles Koch.

Ross’ fellowship with the recently founded Network Contagion Research Institute suggests the US national security state has an increased interest in undermining the progressive anti-imperialist forces he has targeted for years – and is also curiously uninterested in his long record of journalistic malpractice.

Ross introduced his “red-brown” (communist-fascist) theory to a national audience in a series of stem-winding screeds published by the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Hatewatch blog in 2018. His articles consisted of confusing Venn diagrams and wild insinuations linking anti-imperialist and progressive activists with white nationalists and the Kremlin.

In one entry, Ross alleged that Brian Becker, a veteran anti-racist and anti-war activist, was in league with the Oathkeepers because he once debated a member of the far-right group on his radio show. In another, Ross accused liberal Nation Magazine publisher Katrina vanden Heuvel of ultra-conservatism and Kremlin ties largely on the grounds that she was married to Stephen F. Cohen, a top Russian scholar and US foreign policy critic. Ross then blamed Grayzone editor Max Blumenthal for a deadly shooting spree by a neo-Nazi because – well, there was simply no basis for his defamatory claim.

Ross’ blog posts were so full of errors and slanderous attacks that the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was forced to delete his entire archive. In March 2018, after the SPLC scrubbed Ross’s work from its website in humiliation, it issued an effusive apology to his many targets, including the authors of this article. When Ross’ disgrace became the subject of national embarrassment and widespread mockery, he blamed “pro-Russia trolls” and cried that he had been “censored.”

Katie Porter’s Removal from Financial Services Committee Highlights Widening Intra-Democrat Rift

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others in Democrat House leadership quietly bumped Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) off the powerful congressional panel that oversees America’s financial institutions, a report reveals.

The instance with Porter, who had regularly criticized House Financial Services Committee chairwoman Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), presents a possible looming rift within the House Democrat conference which usually falls in line behind its party’s leaders easily.

The friction began when the powerful and secretive House Steering Committee–run by the Speaker and her allies–removed Porter from the Financial Services Committee this year. Porter’s removal by the Steering Committee was, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times, for a simple reason: Porter flowered into a force of her own, overshadowing Waters while garnering praise from House progressive stars such as “squad” member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), for attempting to “change the system that her colleagues have been operating under for years,” which particularly undermines committee leadership.

Porter could not have been kicked off the Financial Services Committee without Pelosi’s approval, since the Steering Committee which determines members’ committee assignments is controlled by her and her allies. Waters also holds sway with the Steering Committee’s authority to designate committee assignments.

“So many of us, regardless of ideology, run on ‘shaking up Washington.’ But then when you actually come here, there’s a lot of consequences for doing that,” said Ocasio-Cortez, who sat on the Financial Services Committee with Porter. Ocasio-Cortez still has her seat on the Financial Services Committee.

The hushed tension between the two factions spilled publicly in a Los Angeles Times story Tuesday. “Democrats loved Katie Porter when she bashed Trump. Now she is making them squirm,” the headline reads.

This comes after significant friction with Waters last Congress, where Waters denied Porter’s efforts to use posters during Financial Services committee hearings. While Waters would not let Porter use them during the hearing, she went on late night national television shows to display them anyway. From the LA Times report:

The first time Porter tried to use a poster board in the committee, Waters upheld a Republican objection, citing committee rules. When Porter came back to another hearing with a “Financial Services bingo” board, Waters again told her to take it down. “We’ve talked about this before,” she said.

Porter balked at Waters’ ruling. “Are we adding additional committee rules at this time?” asked Porter, whose use of such props was not an issue on the House Oversight Committee. In a show of her emerging political star power, Porter eventually got to display the bingo poster — on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

Syria's Idlib De-escalation Zone Shelled 36 Times in Past Day, Russian Military Says

The Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group (banned in Russia) shelled Syria's Idlib de-escalation zone 36 times over the past 24 hours, Rear Adm. Alexander Karpov, deputy head of the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, said at a briefing.

"Thirty-six shelling attacks from the positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra* terrorist group were registered in the Idlib de-escalation zone… in the provinces of Idlib (15 attacks), Latakia (17), Aleppo (3) and Hama (1)," Rear Adm. Karpov said.

He said the number of attacks according to the Syrian side's data also totaled 29.

Rear Adm. Karpov said no shelling on the part of illegal armed groups controlled by Turkey had been registered in the past day.

He said Russian military police units continued to escort civilian vehicles on the M4 highway between the Raqqa and al-Hasakah provinces.

The Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and Control over the Movement of Refugees in the Syrian Arab Republic was created in February 2016. The center's tasks include the signing of agreements on illegal armed groups and individual settlements joining the regime of cessation of hostilities, as well as coordinating the delivery of humanitarian aid.

US Intelligence "On Alert" As North Korea Poised For First Weapons Test Of Biden Era

At a sensitive moment that both US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are traveling in Asia where they are discussing both China and North Korea policies with allied leaders in Tokyo and Seoul on Tuesday and Wednesday, CNN has cited US intelligence officials who say Pyongyang is likely preparing to conduct its first weapons test since Biden entered the White House.

CNN's Barabara Starr reports that American intelligence agencies "are on alert as the US and South Korea conduct scaled-down, simulated military exercises" and further that "North Korea might decide whether to go through with a test after seeing what comes out of Blinken and Austin's meetings in Asia."

The White House is reported to be mulling a response should North Korea actually go through with a test.

Also on Tuesday, as CNN details, a top US general who heads up US Northern Command (which overseas defense of the continental United States), Gen. Glen Van Herck, issued the following warning:

"The Kim Jong Un regime has achieved alarming success in its quest to demonstrate the capability to threaten the U.S. homeland with nuclear-armed ICBMs, believing such weapons are necessary to deter US military action and ensure his regime's survival."

Meanwhile, on the same day the powerful sister of Kim Jong Un, Kim Yo Jong, warned the United States it must "refrain from causing a stink" if it desires to "sleep in peace" over the next four years.

"We take this opportunity to warn the new U.S. administration trying hard to give off gun powder smell in our land," she said. "If it wants to sleep in peace for coming four years, it had better refrain from causing a stink at its first step," she added. It marked the first time the 'rogue regime' directly addressed the new Biden administration.

Syria Reports Israeli Strikes in the Country's South

Syria's military confirmed that air defenses were triggered to respond to strikes around 10:35 P.M. ■ No deaths reported by Syrian authorities

Syrian air defenses responded Tuesday to an "Israeli aggression" in the country's south, state media reported.

According to SANA, Syrian air defense systems downed a number of missiles in the skies of Damascus.

The explosions heard in the vicinity of Damascus were the sounds of air defenses responding in the southern region, state TV said.

Ukraine with Turkish Support Appears to be Preparing for New Conflict Against Donbass

After more than half a year of calmness, the situation in Donbass is heating up again – there are more ceasefire violations, Kiev is transporting new troops towards the Line of Contact, and there is increased activity by Turkish-assembled Bayraktar TB2 drones used by the Ukrainian military. Many experts believe there is a high probability of hostilities resuming between the Ukrainian military and the Luhansk and Donetsk militias in Eastern Ukraine, known as Donbass.

There is no doubt that Kiev believes that inciting a conflict can help unite the country as Ukrainians are frustrated and outraged since major internal problems remain unresolved. These issues include increased poverty, a rise in gas prices and a collapsed health system, among many others. But Kiev seems emboldened and believe they can recover Donbass from militia control. It seems that Azerbaijan’s success in assuming control over seven districts surrounding the former Soviet Union’s Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast from Armenian control, partly thanks to Bayraktar drones, has encouraged Ukraine to follow a similar path – this is despite the fact that the Ukrainian army, as in mid-2010, is doomed to military defeat.

Drones have not only been recorded flying near the Line of Contact in Donbass and close to Crimea, but some have already been destroyed by Donbass militias. This is in addition to videos emerging of the Ukrainian military transferring equipment closer to the Line of Contact. In fact, at least two Boeing C-17A Globemaster of the Qatari Air Force delivered cargo from Turkey to Ukraine on Sunday. Turkish media claims there were five transport aircraft of the Qatari Air Force that flew from Istanbul to Kiev.

Although Turkey has ambitious plans to establish a self-reliant arms industry, it has been a catastrophic failure. In fact, even the so-called “indigenous” Bayraktar drones rely on nine foreign companies for parts, with at least four of those companies withdrawing their contracts in protest against the Turkish-sponsored invasion of formerly Armenian-controlled territories. With the struggle for domestic production, Turkey is turning to Ukraine.
