LIES: Washington Post Admits to Publishing FALSE Trump Quotes That Stirred Impeachment
written by Graham Allen Team March 15, 2021
Do you remember when the liberal media lost their minds because Trump was accused of telling a Georgia prosecutor to “find the fraud”? Well, turns out that the media was lying – once again.
The Washington Post is JUST NOW walking back claims that they made about some of the things that Donald Trump said. Not only is this TERRIBLE journalism, it is also incredibly DANGEROUS to America and her people.
Keep in mind, this “correction” is being made TWO MONTHS after the original story came out. The damage is done, and now they’re trying to sweep it under the rug.
The media attacked Trump endlessly for his election claims, but now it comes out that some of the claims he made, he didn’t even SAY.
Vote Now: Should the United States Enforce Term Limits on Members of Congress?
The Daily Caller reported this analysis on the situation at hand:
The Washington Post issued a lengthy correction after published audio revealed it misquoted former President Donald Trump regarding his phone call with Frances Watson, the chief investigator of the Georgia secretary of state’s office.
The report, first published in December, accused Trump of telling Watson to “find the fraud” and lauding her as “a national hero” if she was able to find any. While the audio did show Trump claiming he won the 2020 election and suggesting Watson would be “praised” after the “right answer” was revealed, The Post’s original quotes turned out to be fake news.
“Correction: Two months after publication of this story, the Georgia secretary of state released an audio recording of President Donald Trump’s December phone call with the state’s top elections investigator,” The Post’s article now reads at the top of the story. “The recording revealed that The Post misquoted Trump’s comments on the call, based on information provided by a source. Trump did not tell the investigator to ‘find the fraud’ or say she would be ‘a national hero’ if she did so.”
“Instead, Trump urged the investigator to scrutinize ballots in Fulton County, Ga., asserting she would find ‘dishonesty’ there,” the correction continued. “He also told her that she had ‘the most important job in the country right now.’”
Not only was the Washington Post LYING about Donald Trump’s words they also intentionally demonized a sitting President in an attempt to discredit his claims

Oh look, the Washington Post peddled fake news. And I'm sure this correction will be as widely disseminated as the initial story, right? https://t.co/YDwV5ncyH0

Okay, hold up. Let’s put this into perspective. We just went through the SECOND impeachment trials of Donald J. Trump for what democrats called an “insurrection” on the U.S. Capitol.
In the impeachment articles, Democrats included that Donald Trump’s rhetoric led America to believe that the Election was stolen or fraudulent which cause the insurrection.
Now we can look back and see that Donald J. Trump DID NOT say the things that the Washington Post published and therefore may not be guilty of what the Democrats accused him of.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you don’t believe the media is more powerful than the government, YOU ARE WRONG.
The Washington Post LITERALLY influenced an impeachment trial of a U.S. President, DESPITE not even reporting the truth.
This is completely DESPICABLE and is the reason why we are here to report. The news has for far too long been in bed with the liberal and progressive movement and RIGHT NOW we are seeing the consequences.
No newspaper can make those claims and then WAIT for the consequences to pass and then try to go back and fix their mistake.
If I were Donald Trump, I would lawyer up and go to court as soon as possible. This is a gross overreach of the media’s power and they MUST be held accountable.
