It just reveals an unhealthy addiction to "society",

as if that society defines them.

It reveals a more insidious underlying problem from which people need to be unshackled,

to become independent,

and not simply to be a face in the crowd,

a mere dot in an amorphous being called "the group" or "society" they blindly follow.

It is healthy independence that makes great minds who contribute to the greater good,

creating a more healthy relationship within society.

That independent mind has been given a slow death.

Agree.

Compression is often used to even the clarity of objects of varying distance.

It appears to have failed in this instance.

Compression was also used in the pic of Biden in the Oval signing Executive Orders,

with the Secret Service cars appearing to be closer,

right outside the window,

when in reality,

they were on the driveway behind the Oval at a farther distance.
