Why? I have absinthe now that is 'authentic'. Bought it in Texas. It's made with wormwood - the kind of psychadelic shit.
Wormwood was outlawed in US for many years so our absinthe was 'fake' while Europe was the good shit. But that restriction was lifted some years ago. At least 10, I thinkl.
